About

Pipetionary is an offline ASME-based piping reference built for engineers, designers, inspectors, and field technicians who need dimensional data and quick checks at the jobsite. It is not a repackaged website or a generic template app. The iOS app bundles a pre-populated SQLite reference database, custom React Native/SVG dimensional diagrams, four-language dictionary content, user preferences, favorites, recent lookups, and native calculators in one standalone app. What is included: - Pipes: browse ASME B36.10M and B36.19M pipe dimensions by NPS and schedule, with OD, ID, wall thickness, weight, fill percentage, and fluid linear weight views. - Fittings: inspect ASME B16.9 and B16.11 elbows, tees, reducers, caps, socket-weld, and threaded components with generated dimensional diagrams. - Flanges: check ASME B16.5 and B16.47 flange dimensions, classes, facings, bolt patterns, and key reference values. - Valves: review ASME B16.10 face-to-face and end-to-end dimensions, plus curated manufacturer reference overlays where available. - Gaskets: browse ASME B16.20 and B16.21 gasket references. - Dictionary: search piping terms in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese, including formulas, related terms, diagram references, and catalog links. Engineering tools: - Hydrotest volume calculator for line fill planning. - Darcy-Weisbach head loss and pressure drop calculator. - ASME B31.3 wall thickness calculator. - Cross-app handoff to Pump Mate for extended hydraulics workflows when installed. Why it is different: - Offline-first app experience with bundled data, not web clipping or a link collection. - Interactive, parameter-driven diagrams instead of static table screenshots. - Standards-focused catalog coverage across pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, and gaskets. - Four-language app and dictionary support for mixed-language field teams. - Free, ad-free, no account required, and no in-app purchases.
