Non-distinct dominoes
The whole challenge in Pips is that every domino is unique, and you fit it all together like a puzzle, using the rules and limitations of the board. This app allows for duplicate tiles (e.g. two 2-3s) in your hand, which significantly reduces the challenge. Still decent enough I guess, but that lowers the quality for me and doesn’t incentivize me to play.

Needs QOL
When the dominoes go on the grid, they're shown as two halves and there's no way to tell which two halves belong together. The requirements for each region cover up the faces of the dominoes in larger puzzles.
Not challenging enough
I get bored with this game if the puzzles are too easy, but you can’t choose your difficulty and leveling up is grueling - you get I think 20 points per game and need *hundreds* of points to advance. I’m trying to slog through to get to the good part, but there was a recent update that made the game even easier by putting in a few pieces at the start of the game and there’s no setting that I can find to remove this. I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to keep up if I don’t advance soon, there’s no fun in finishing a puzzle in 30 seconds.
