Pipyo - Piano Sight Reading

Start reading piano music, one note at a time. Pipyo helps adult beginners connect the notes on a staff with the keys on a piano. Learn alongside a little capybara in a calm practice room, with illustrated explanations and exercises you can repeat at your own pace. CONNECT NOTES AND KEYS Start with C, D and E, then work through treble and bass clefs, the grand staff and ledger lines. Tap the on-screen piano keys to answer questions and hear notes. Explore black-key groups and learn how sharps and flats relate to the keyboard. UNDERSTAND THE NOTATION Read visual guides to note values, rests, accidentals, key signatures, time signatures, dynamics, tempo, articulation and repeat signs. Compare similar symbols and use memory guides to make sense of their positions and meanings. PRACTICE AND LEARN FROM MISTAKES Choose a clef, note range and session length for random note-reading practice. Get immediate feedback and correct a wrong answer before moving on. Your first answer determines the score, so corrections help you learn without inflating your results. SEE YOUR PROGRESS Keep track of completed lessons, first-answer accuracy and response times. Revisit the notes you often miss with targeted review. Learning progress is stored on your device, and no account is required. START FREE, UNLOCK WITH ONE PURCHASE Repeat the first three note-reading lessons for free, practice the introductory C/D/E range and read the teaching guides.
