This really is a great app. Lots of variety in activities and our 2 young sons enjoy it.

Good game but found a bug
Really good game but final challenge when all pirates are escaping governor has a bug. Even if you make no mistakes you keep having to do it again. There is no complete to the game. A bit disappointing for my son after working through all the maps.

Really good app and just what I was looking for to help my 5 year old with his spelling .
Technical problems
Love the games, but we have some problems with dragging letters in the second stage game. We are using a ipad 2 and up to date software, so it is a bit frustrating for my 4 year old.
Great app for phonics
My son has lived playing these games and learning his phonics. It has really helped develop his love of reading

If you’ve got kids who are learning their phonics at school, I’d recommend these apps as a really useful way to re-enforce their learning.
Brilliant piece of work
I was looking for an app that could help my daughter with her phonics. I tried this app and it was fantastic. Not only does this explain the phonics but it also helps to blend them as well.

Could be better
While a good app for the phonics, it doesn't allow for multiple players so that you can track each child's progress. Also because the foregoing functionality is absent, you have to start from the beginning each time. An improvement in this area would definitely increase its rating.

This is a good app for helping children to learn the phonics. The app offers lots of repetition with the phonics and blending but using lots of different games, so the children don’t get bored.
Learning is definitely fun.....
have to say loved the first app, this one is excellent as well a great way for kids to learn thats fun, fun, fun.

Arrr! This is Superb
My daughter finds phonics difficult so I was delighted to find this App as well as Pirate Phonics 1; now she plays with the App and learns her phonics without worrying about them; result!
