Long time user. Thanks for a fun game. I get what people are saying about ads and the messaging interface sometimes goes weird. And it’s-my-turn notifications stopped working a while back.

paid 2 bucks for this app, tried to play but apparently theres no pirates around me to even play and theres not even an option to play against a computer. by far the stupidest app i've ever downloaded. if i could give this app zero stars i would
Same problem -Ads in my paid version.
Might have to dump this once favored game. So sad they had to ruin it.

You buy this game and it’s so full of adds that you can’t enjoy it. I paid for the ad free version and that was not honored. Don’t pay for this.
Fun game, but...
I started playing this game years ago when it was free. Then I paid for the full version and didn’t have to deal with ads. I recently started playing again after years of not even opening this app, and to my surprise I find that there is no more free version. You are required to buy it now, and there’s ads. Don’t buy this if you hate ads. I think it’s a turn off for many if they don’t get a chance to even try it for free before deciding that they want it or not.

Waste of money
WHY DID I WASTE MONEY FOR NO ADS JUST TO GET ADS.
This use to be GREAT game
I too am so disappointed about paying for NO ADS and since they sold this game its went from a “10” to a “-5”

Paid for premium version to remove advertisements, then the game owner decides to push lame ads to everyone, no matter if you paid or not. Don’t waste your time or money.
Ads drive you nuts
I thought that upgrading to + would get rid of the ad’s. Sadly the paid version still has tons of very irritating ad’s.

What happened?
This game use to be awesome. I quit playing for a while and when I came back I found my (paid) version full of bugs. It wouldn't let me sign in via email even though it recognized it as a registered user and didn't even give me the chance to put my password in. It basically forced me to sign in with Facebook which I hate doing and then it had no opponents available. I paid $ for this game and I'm rather upset with it at the moment. It also reduced the amount of avatars to choose. I don't like PirateFleet2. I prefer the regular one but it's out of commission and I want my $ back.

Love the Game but Notifications need to be Fixed
I love this game but I'm rating it one star until they fix the notifications now that I see I'm not the only one with the issue.

Is a very fun game to play I like a lot but have a little problems, I have the iPhone 5s and I cannot get the alerts from this game it doesn't matter what I do I don't get the alerts can you guys fix this? For the rest I love the game is very very fun...! I recommend...
The game is fun, support is not
I had been playing for a year and then decided to deactivate my Facebook account. The app kept saying I had to log in via FB. I email customer support and they said they would fix it. I worked with them implementing all their suggestions however none of them worked. Although I paid for the app I still can't play. Their customer support is awful they have no clue what they're doing!

Great Family Fun
Our family of three sit in the living room and we have a match with each person going at the same time.
Unfortunately, we do not always have a lot of time to play. The game will deactivate our account too quickly.

Addictive, but...
First, the good... It's a lot of fun, and quite addictive. The occasional Arr, and Yes, cap'n is funny. (Reminds me of old Warcraft).
Here's why it gets old...
The animation (bombing) sequence is too slow. It should be sped up or there should be a way to disable.
The push notification sound is loud seagull chatter. I think game continuity is stunted due to a requirement for most people to have to disable the sound so as to avoid random squawking at work. Honestly, it's annoying at home too. A ship's bell would probably be a little more innocuous.
Parrot kind of gets in the way. Should probably slide in and out on its own without requiring intervention.
Overall decent game, but it does kind of wear me down after a while.

Kaboom!
There is nothing like getting down to one hit left on the last ship, one canon ball left, 3 choices and you luck out and pick the right one, sending your adversary down to Davey Jones' locker. Take that, wife!
Pirate Fleet
I was enjoying playing game and then I started being prompted to enter Facebook info and it wouldn't accept my email address to play. Have not been able to sign in. Very frustrating.
Low time commitment, lots of fun
This game is a lot of fun. Easy to learn, easy to pick up, play, and put down for a while and come back to later. I'm a busy adult, so I can't invest a ton of attention into gaming, so this game has turned out to be perfect for me. I love the random raids, and I love playing this against my girlfriend.

Battleship with friends
Lots of fun. Wish we could skip animations if desired though. Also would be nice to play more than one game at a time with the same person. And instinctively I tap the message in the bottle picture to see the chat message when it appears, and then remember that doesn't work, that I have to tap the chat button on the opposite side of the screen. Counter intuitive and annoying. These 3 things keep me from giving 5 stars. (Oh and also paying for the game twice because it annoyed me that my paid game said "free" on it even though I had upgraded it... It's worth the double price but that was frustrating anyway.)
