Pirith

A simple player for Buddhist pirith chanting. The app interface is in Sinhala. Twenty-six chantings, including Karaniya Metta, Maha Mangala, Ratana Sutta, Dhammacakkappavattana, Jayamangala Gatha and Seth Pirith. Four are included with the app and play straight away, with no connection needed. Download any of the others when you want them. • Choose what to download — nothing is forced onto your phone • Listen with no internet connection at all • Keeps playing with the screen locked, and from the lock screen controls • Pauses when a call comes in, and resumes by itself afterwards • Repeat a single chanting or the whole collection • Delete anything you no longer need to free up space No advertisements. No account or sign-in. No analytics and no tracking of any kind — nothing you do in the app leaves your device.
