About
The wisdom of the sages, one mishna a day.
Pirkei Avot Daily gives you a single mishna of Ethics of the Fathers each day — the same one for everyone, in a gentle rotation through all 108. Read it in Hebrew and English, open Bartenura's classical commentary, and finish with a short lesson that brings it into today.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• One mishna a day, Hebrew and English, beautifully set
• Bartenura's commentary, in plain English
• A short Derekh Learning lesson on the mishna
• Mark it learned and keep a quiet streak
• Browse — read any of the six chapters, ahead or behind
• Share a mishna as a clean card
• An optional daily reminder
Pirkei Avot is meant to be re-learned; the cycle comes around a few times a year, which is exactly as it should be. No account, nothing to configure — your reading history stays on your device.
A companion to Derekh Learning, the full Jewish-learning app. More at derekhlearning.com.
