1.2.4
September 15, 2026
Saving a recipe no longer opens with your iPhone asking to paste. There's a Paste Link button now, and that prompt only shows up when you tap to paste. Sharing from Instagram or TikTok with Pitada closed could hang on the opening screen. Not anymore: the recipe goes straight to the save screen. A recipe saved from a video or a website now brings its timers into Cook Mode, on steps like "bake for 40 minutes". It works for the ones you save from now on. Sent your Meal Plan over to the Pitada+ Grocery List? Items arrive sorted by aisle, like Produce, Dairy & Eggs and Pantry. For recipes saved from now on, repeats merge better too: "chopped onion" and "onion" become a single line. And if you tap Clear Checked Items by mistake, you can undo it right away. And Pitada now speaks French, alongside Portuguese, English and Spanish. Pick "Français" in Settings, on the Profile tab.
MorePitada can process videos from platforms like Instagram and TikTok. It analyzes the audio and visuals to extract ingredients and cooking steps, saving them directly into your digital cookbook without manual entry.
Yes, Pitada generates a grocery list based on your planned meals. It consolidates repeated ingredients, so if two recipes call for onions, it will list '2 onions' instead of two separate entries. The list is also sorted by aisle for efficient shopping.
The free plan allows you to save up to 5 recipes per month. Pitada+ is a subscription service that removes this limit, enabling you to save an unlimited number of recipes.
You can cancel your auto-renewing subscription at any time through your iPhone Settings. You will retain access to Pitada+ features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
