Too much latency

I’ve tried to change my sound live and there is too much latency to be usable.

FAQ

What is Pitch Shifter AUv3 Plugin used for?

Pitch Shifter AUv3 Plugin is an audio effect designed to modify the pitch of vocals and lead instruments. It allows for independent pitch adjustments on the left and right stereo channels.

What sample rates does Pitch Shifter AUv3 Plugin support?

This plugin is restricted to sample rates of 44/48KHz and below. Using it with higher sample rates may result in unexpected behavior or no functionality.

Does Pitch Shifter AUv3 Plugin introduce latency?

Yes, due to data processing constraints inherent in real-time pitch shifting, the plugin imposes a 100ms delay. This is typical for such algorithms and is less noticeable on sustained sounds like vocals.

Is Pitch Shifter AUv3 Plugin suitable for drums?

The 100ms delay introduced by Pitch Shifter AUv3 Plugin makes it unsuitable for percussive elements like drums or anything that needs to be precisely timed to a beat. It is best used for melodic and vocal content.

What DAWs are compatible with Pitch Shifter AUv3 Plugin?

Pitch Shifter AUv3 Plugin is designed to work with AUv3 compatible DAWs on iOS, such as Cubasis, Auria, Meteor, and GarageBand.
