A speed gun that does not stop at "ball not detected".
Instead of chasing the ball automatically, you step through your slow-motion clip one frame at a time and mark two points yourself: the release and the catch. Your eyes make the call, not the app. So it still gives you a number in low light, through a net, or off a wall.
- Frame-step marking
Because it measures frame by frame, there is no reaction-time lag from tapping a button. The number is computed from the distance and the frame count, so you can always see where it came from.
- Just pick a distance
Baseball (18.44m), youth baseball (16m) or softball (13.11m) presets. For wall drills, net work, tennis or soccer, enter any custom distance.
- Works without a video too
There is also a mode where you simply tap at the release and at the catch. Good for a first try.
- Compare with a model
Put two videos side by side, stacked, or overlaid, and step through them together. Mark the same moment in both — the instant the stride foot lands, for example — and they move as one from there. It works even when the two clips were shot at different frame rates. Either video can be mirrored, so you can compare a right-hander with a left-hander. Draw a line with your finger to show the body axis or the shoulder line.
- Measure each player separately
Your own kids, or a whole team. Add players and record speed and pitch type for each of them, along with number, throws/bats, position, age, height and weight, and your own notes. A table shows the best, average and the gap from the fastball for every pitch type, so the drop on a breaking ball reads at a glance. Three players are free.
- Every record stays, for free
Measurements are saved automatically, with no limit on how many you can keep or view. Personal bests show up right away.
- Send today's pitch
Turn any measurement into a single image and send it to family or teammates.
- Your videos never leave the device
Everything is measured on-device. Videos are never sent to a server, and no account is required.
■ Something you can hand over
Each player's records can be exported as a one-page PDF report — the speed trend, best and average by pitch type, physique and your notes, all on a single A4 sheet. Give it to a parent, or to the team (Pro).
■ See the form with the skeleton on top
When you compare two clips, you can overlay the body's skeleton. Elbow height, shoulder-hip separation and wrist position are shown as numbers, so "somehow different" becomes "the elbow is 15% lower". Everything is scaled to body length, so two players of different heights — or filmed from different distances — can still be compared. It does not score anyone (Pro).
Pro (one-time purchase) unlocks the player report PDF, the skeleton layer, unlimited players, the table, roster CSV and the growth chart, and removes ads. There is no subscription.
