Just what I need, but had a glitch
I like the simple visuals, and my son loved the trill sound I selected for when the timer finished. However when the timer was done the pop up message just kept reappearing and I had to force quit the app. I’ll keep using it, but that needs to be fixed.
Love but trouble resetting
I have loved using this timer for working out or doing work assignments. My only issue is sometimes it will not let me reset the timer to something new without it glitching up.
Simple, customisable.
This is an easy-to-use app that does what it says on the pack. For an extra star, it would display proportionally when in split-screen mode so students could see task instructions in OneNote and the timer at the same time.
Indispensable for working with people living with Autism
I am a teacher and team leader of an intense program that supports young people living with challenging forms of Autism. As soon as I discovered PiTimer, I downloaded it onto my phone. It has been working hard ever since. (Unlike many single purpose devices that seem to have a very short life span.) I could not tell you how many times that the ability to instantly produce a visual timer has effectively avoided the likelihood of a physical intervention. With such a tool on constant standby, my students have a much better sense of predictability in the flow of little daily events. As a result, they are empowered with understanding and are far more happy, independent, and far more able to make better choices, - and in addition, I have fewer staff injuries to report. I strongly recommend this tool for anyone who needs to help others understand limits. It offers a huge amount of empowerment for a very small price!

Can't set my own max time anymore
I loved this app until the update & I was no longer able to set my own max time. It's stuck on 15min & I want to be able to set 10 min but have the entire circle be red. I deleted this app & now use another bc of this simple issue that needs to be fixed.
Can no longer set my own max time
All of the sudden it won't let me set a different timer time. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no dice. It was great in the beginning...I'm not sure what changed...
Clean, Simple, Visual Countdown Timer
Clean and simple, yet adjustable to allow for hours-long tasks, as well as 10-minute tasks.
Set time to countdown by simply dragging the colored pie slice until your reach the time you want. Very handy.

Crashes when I try to change the color of the pie circle.
Latest version doesn't work!
Pi timer was fine until I uploaded the update (which is supposed to fix an ios7 bug) now timer only works once then freezes completely. Reset doesn't reset the timer at all. Disappointed - would not recommend until this bug is fixed.

Have installed this successfully on numerous devices but the 'remove ads' feature is no longer working. Please fix this!

The only improvement suggestion ....
It would be SO helpful to add an option for the timer to sweep CLOCKWISE, and also have the setting for the color of "time elapsed", in addition to the color for "time remaining".
In other words, add the option to switch color-fill between "time remaining" and "time elapsed":
it is visually more positive and allows you to see just how much time you spent on a task. Thank you!

Disappointed
I installed this timer as a visual tool for our children. The app does not work at all on my iPhone4. It just doesn't start.
