What's New in Pito
5.8.5
August 8, 2026
Pito 5.8.5 — Two new games, stickers, and messaging that just works This update brings everything from 5.8.0 through 5.8.5 together. — NEW GAMES — • Barricade (بەربەست) — race your pawn to the far side while walls block the way. Fully online: ranked 1v1 and 2v2, private rooms you can fill with bots, friend invites, in-game chat, emotes and voice chat. • Snake & Ladder (مار و پەیژە) — 2 to 4 players, online or on one phone. A hand-drawn 3D board, the kick rule, and a full learn-by-doing tutorial. — MESSAGES THAT ALWAYS SEND — • Messages could get stuck on the clock forever, and even restarting the app did not fix it. They send now. • Deleting a chat really deletes it — for both of you. • Deleting a message you just sent cancels it instantly instead of hanging. • One failed action can no longer freeze every message queued behind it. • Messages no longer jump around or fail because of a weak signal. • The send tick now animates smoothly from the clock to the first tick. — YOUR ACCOUNT — • You no longer get signed out. A dropped connection or a flaky network can no longer destroy your session — only a deliberate sign-out will. — CHAT — • Stickers and GIFs in every chat, with five Kurdish sticker packs. Captions arrive in your own dialect. • Large videos send reliably and resume where they left off, even if the app closes mid-upload. • Voice messages survive a restart — a half-sent recording comes back as tap-to-retry instead of a dead bubble. • Voice notes keep playing when you scroll away, open another chat, or leave the screen. • Group chats gain GIFs, stickers, disappearing messages, and delivery ticks that finally advance. • Snap, voice and sticker messages now say what they are instead of showing a blank line. — FRIENDS — • Inviting the same friend twice now works. A second invite used to be swallowed silently, and room invites never reached a friend who was not already in the game. — FAIR PLAY — • Chess and Dama show a clear fair-play card: your warnings, the ban you are on, how long it lasts, and what comes next. • The back gesture no longer drops you out of a live game. • Domino no longer throws you out of your own game. — STORE — • New Stickers section. Paid packs are included with Pito Plus. • Barricade board themes are sold as blue+red pairs, and both halves equip together. • New animated mythic profile backgrounds, and a new Chamchamal background. • You can now refuse a gift and send its value back to the sender. • Your coin balance updates immediately after every purchase. — FIXES — • Helo scores and coins no longer vanish, and honest runs are no longer misread as cheating. • Abandoned games no longer appear as losses in Domino and Okey history. • Rank badges and ratings show correctly on player cards, profiles and leaderboards. • Players whose name starts with an emoji no longer crash the screens they appear on. • A large crash sweep aimed at the crashes actually happening in the last release. • The whole app feels much smoother — every sound effect was quietly polling the system hundreds of times a second. • A much smaller download: bundled art cut from 21.8 MB to 3.2 MB.
