I remember buying this app years ago. It’s exactly how I remember it, only I swear the controls are slightly clunkier.
I wish you had come back as a paid app instead of this contrived subscription service. I would have happily payed $5-10 to download this app again (I think it was $5.99 when I downloaded it years ago). Also, put your sound track on Apple Music. I missed this game a lot, but am unwilling to pay a subscription fee just to access it, nor am I willing to endure ads. Sadly this state is worse than having lost the game forever.

Buttons way too small
The buttons are worse for playing than they were in the original version. They need their original placement and size

I’ve already paid for this game *on this platform*, I’m certainly not going to buy a subscription service so I can play the game I already paid for. Ridiculous!

I really loved this game, and I’m glad that it’s back!
However, there are two pretty large problems with the game right now, which are still present in the latest version 1.0.16:
1. On an iPhone SE (1st generation), the controls in Classic mode practically overlap. It causes you to jump when you want to fire, and vice versa. Not good.
2. When you get to 10x bonus, everything is impossible to see. You can barely see where platforms and enemies are. This makes it hard to keep the 10x bonus going for longer than a few seconds.
Please fix these problems! Glad that GameClub is bringing these games back!
