App is useless, non functional and glitchy!
Very disappointed, just want to put some sounds on to help my little one sleep but the app is so glitchy, lagging and simply doesn’t work 98% of the time! PLEASE FIX IT! This is essentially an overpriced colourful light at this point.
Amazing.
Amazing for school if your a deep sleeper and you can’t make the alarm as loud, or last as long as you want, you can’t play songs on there and the buttons are easy to use, and a clock on the bottom if its too bright the clock, you can’t play songs change it in the app! With other options like gen yoga lightning for the alarm, and to rn it off just flick the outlet off then on if you accidentally pressed snooze!

Okay app not great
Edit: Took one star off (now 2 stars) because I can’t set up a bedtime click-to-run routine to play sounds for 30 minutes to use on days he’s late to bed. It’s impossible. I tried. Delay action of turning music off by 30 minutes, simply turns the music off after a few milliseconds, as if there was no delay. 30% volume is not always able to be heard, the volume varies so widely, even on the same soundscape. And another thing that really annoys me is that the sleep routine plays, it has a timer to turn the light off after a while, but when the routine gets to the end, it simply reverts to what it was before. I had started ocean for my son one night, he was in bed early, and the sleep routine came on, and then after all the timers and things it was late at night, and suddenly it reverted to ocean. I’ve also seen it revert to daytime colours late at night, this is just confusing for him. These clocks are not cheap, and they should not malfunction in these ways.

I primarily wanted this clock to tell my child when it was okay to get out of bed and wake other people up in the morning. Like by changing to yellow in the daytime and blue at night kind of thing. His cheap Kmart version was doing this well but difficult to get just the right cord alignment to charge it. So I upgraded. He has been FaceTiming people at all hours because he wakes early and has no idea what the time is. I can’t get it to do that. It won’t allow me to set just a colour to come on, I must set the whole theme sounds and everything, or a single selection not including colour. I tried the “wake up” theme and it played bird songs to wake him up when I’d rather let him sleep if he’s asleep. He doesn’t need an alarm clock yet. Plus the timer is just awful, is it in seconds? It says that absolutely nowhere, I set it and it went forever. Again there’s no up and down by one setting so it’s impossible. The app is seriously not user friendly at all. I find the Alexa app works better to change the colour of the light, and only the colour. Which seems wrong. I could set up an automation in Alexa to change the light colour at 7:00 each morning without bird sounds but I can’t set up one in the Pixbee app? That’s crazy! Also feel because it gets the temperature I should be able to change the colour to red when it’s hot. Nope. Can’t select colour of led on scenes either.
The volume settings are tricky too, and it would be good if I could hear the sound I was setting for automations through my phone, or even on the Pixbee as I’m setting it. I had no idea what 30% meant, was a little quiet for sleep sounds. And there’s no clue as to what all the themes meant, would be nice if it said on the screen what it had. A picture of a beach tells me almost nothing. Maybe beach sounds but what colour is the LED what brightness? And a picture of hot chocolate, a picture of a moon now that really does tell me nothing. Would love to be able to set an automation with the settings currently on the Home Screen. And what about some actual colours? Most of the time I don’t actually want to select from the colour wheel, I want the option to also select colours like “yellow”, “lime green”, “sky blue” etc. You don’t give me that option though. Alexa app does.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the app and I love that the app has all these settings, I just don’t think it goes far enough. And it’s definitely not a good user interface or experience. It’s very difficult to use, even for me a tech savvy person.

Does the trick
Really not that bad of an app, deserves more than the 1 star rating it currently has.
There are a lot of functions that we don’t use as they just seem to complicate things, so we’ve kept it simple by keeping one lullaby selected at a suitable volume, and just press play/pause as needed.

Any UI testing at all?
Completely unintuitive and hard to use, makes me wonder if they actually tested this app after development at all.
Waste
Doesn’t work 98% of the time. Need to reset phone still doesn’t work
