Impressive
The atmosphere is that of tight, doom-esque environments combined with fear inducing close combat sequences with some unsettling monsters. This much I actually love. A few quips I have are the controls, which are pretty bad. You cannot shoot while aiming, so you have to WASD a lot. Also, one death will give you a game over and force you to restart the whole game. This combination of bad features however, makes the game intense and pretty engaging despite being frustrating to progress very far. Another note is that I like the poetic transitions between zones, they instill a sort of cosmic wonder in me. Overall, with polish, this could be a good game.
