Hi There! We are sorry to hear you are having trouble with the app. Make sure you are refreshing the home page when you create a new pattern. We have a new version releasing soon that may help with any of the issues. Please email evan@pixellights.com if you have any questions, thanks!
Fantastic tech support
Latest update feels like a downgrade
The latest update does allow some customization of premade patterns (e.g., speed, bulb spacing) but not the color or tone. This is unfortunate because the white used in the new candy cane pattern is so cool that it looks red and blue instead of white.
We’ve created a few custom patterns successfully. But more often than not, the new custom design is somehow applied to other existing custom patterns (undoing the previous work) or turns all lights white and/or crashes the app, disappearing the controller entirely.
There is an option to access the old patterns but it is significantly more buggy than before.
I’m hopeful the app will improve but in the meantime it is a big disappointment, especially during the holidays when we use our lights most. Very disappointing.

Update sucks
I liked the basic interface its was much easier to customize.
What happened to all of the pattern options?!
EASY to use permanent lighting app
With all of the regular updates, I’m surprised there isn’t a subscription.
I read another review about wifi issues - I got a new 5G/2.4G combined modem and I called internet provider and separated the signal, ran on 2.4G and zero issues since. I had to do this for my door bell, security cameras, and thermostats too, seems to be pretty standard protocol.
