About
Pixel Palette is a quiet pixel-art coloring game. Tap each numbered cell to fill it with the matching color and watch a hidden picture come to life - from a 16x16 doodle you can finish in two minutes to a 256x256 masterpiece you can return to whenever you want a calm moment.
No ads. No timers. No nudges. No microtransactions. Pixel Palette runs entirely offline - once you've installed it, the app never talks to a server again.
Puzzles
• 6 sizes: 16x16, 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 192x192, 256x256
• 6 categories: Animals, Food & Drinks, Objects & Items, Nature, Fantasy, Mindfulness
• Every puzzle is hand-curated and shipped offline - no waiting, no downloads
Smart Palette
The palette automatically dims colors that aren't visible in your current zoom view, and gently fades out the ones you've already finished. So the next color to use is always the one you're looking at.
Ambient Soundscapes
Eleven loopable audio backgrounds: rain on a tent, rain in town, ocean waves, river flow, forest crickets, three uplifting music pads, and more - all volume-normalized so picking a track never means re-balancing your phone.
Polish
• Smooth WebGL canvas with crisp pixel rendering at any zoom
• Auto-save in the background - never lose progress
• 14-step tutorial, skippable any time
• Light / dark / system theme
• 10 checkerboard backgrounds for transparent cells

What's New in Pixel Palette
2026.05.13
May 13, 2026
Calmer ambience, sharper polish. • Ambient tracks redone — 3-min loops (was 45s) with seamless crossfade and a gentle fade-in. New "Calm" track joins Aurora and Breath. Settings → About now credits every contributor. • My Paintings — at 15+ paintings: category / difficulty / status filters; scroll position survives tab return. • Fixes — tutorial replays don't leave a paid tool stuck; mode-swap mid-paint can't corrupt a puzzle; iPhone notch is respected.
