Fun gameplay but the ads make it basically unplayable
Gameplay
The pixel games are good fun, without long term dedication or sinking tons of time and money in. My only complaint about golf is the fact that when you start a hole the game basically suggests where to hit and with what club. There are tons of holes where it suggests you hit into the trees, and of course you need to use judgement but it’s misleading when you’re on hole 12/18 and you end up wasting 3 shots basically forcing you to restart

Better than real golf only complaint is the sobriety
Inconsistency
The inconsistency with the power, range, and accuracy in this game is stupid (having the meter hit anywhere but the direct center of the green area will cause your shot to be skewed). Not to mention that hitting slightly too hard over the hole will be a missed putt. Doesn’t make sense.
Too many ads
Unplayable with the amount of ads lol. Other than that amazing game!

The game is so much fun but how can a company expect someone to play their game when there is an ad after every single hole? I understand the free version has ads. Everyone has to make their money but I sit through a minute ad to play one hole then have to sit through another ad is absolutely ridiculous

Game is fun but there is no way people aren’t cheating in these tourneys.
Ads and trees
Potential to be one of the best golf games on the App Store, but there’s a few tweaks that I feel need to be done.
Firstly, the ads and in app purchases. I’m not bothered with the in app purchases, they’re all relatively fair and reasonable. However, getting ads after every other hole is ridiculous. If you play 18 you’ll be seeing 9-10 ads. That’s far too many.
Secondly, the trees and how you aim your shots. Trees in this game stop your ball completely. Every time. Even if you graze them, your ball is dead on the spot. On top of that, the hit box for almost all the trees are far too big. making the tight, tree covered courses more annoying than actually challenging. Aiming around or over trees is very annoying as well because you’re not sure how high your ball will be flying, or if your ball is aiming into one.
There’s a few other little things, like making the putting meter different than the rest. Don’t get me wrong, really great game.

Trees
Definitely a good overall game but the trees genuinely make it so annoying. In real life trees are 90% air, and even if you do get stuck, you can always punch out onto the fairway. But in this game, if you even grace the side of a tree it completely stops your ball and you have no chance of getting anything better than a double bogey. What I really think would make the game better is to add a punch out feature where it keeps the ball low, just so you can at least advance the ball and set up your next shot.

Fix the trees please!
This game is amazing except for one simple fact. The trees are ridiculous. In real golf in the trees maybe adds one stoke not 5. Should be able to change to a punch shot or something.

Great game. Have played for hours over a few years. Sitting through one ad every hole is just too much

Everything about the game is good besides the trees. They just sometimes catch your ball when there is no reason they should. And if the trees are gonna be like that some of the pin locations being tucked behind trees you can’t get over makes no sense.

Great game. Sometimes you hit trees out of no where off the tee and you’re left thinking “how’s that happened 🤷🏼♂️” and the wind is way to in consistent. Sometimes it seems to be working. Other times the ball doesn’t move at all. Speeds on the clubs are also very inconsistent. Being able to put some spin on approaching greens would be useful too. Otherwise you just bounce through

Tree mechanics are awful
Good game, fun for the most part but the tree mechanics are atrocious and make no sense. Shots that logically for no reason should be landing amongst the trees do. Additionally, in the power calibrating mechanism at the high end is not very clear.
Fun but Mediocre
Lots of little issues make this fun but mediocre. The slopes and power meters effect are inconsistent, the guide lines up with the trees on certain holes, and the ball immediately falls to the trunk of the tree instead of powering through the leaves like in real life. Worst is the random wind effects, anything over 5MPH is a crapshoot for how it will impacts your shot. All are worsened in the tournament mode.
