What the hell.

A very poorly presented app with a lifetime access but no storage or saving facility, constantly asking for payment and no instruction to use the App. A very poor decision to purchase without trying.

Ok

I got this a few years back and thought it was brilliant but in a few short years colourising apps have come along in leaps and bounds and they’re free to use!
I don’t really use it any more but I will keep it in the hope that it might be updated at some point.

Eh - good for some, adds weird faces to others

I’d say this app has 70% accuracy for improving photos. The enhancer needs a lot of work. It basically uses AI and applies random faces to people in your photo. Super weird.

Terrific app

Almost every photograph that I post on Facebook,I sharpen up a little with Pixelup.

OK

My phone scanned my face and paid for this so I figured I’d use it. It does OK.

Promising!

This might become the great enhancing app but it has a way to go. With old, dark, blurry or B&W photos, it often comes up with a better enhanced image. But occasionally it smooths and cartoonizes faces too much. What I believe would help it is a 0-100 dial where the effect is megged with the original. This could pull back some of the heavy smoothing and colorizing. Sometimes it distorts things like fingers or parts of faces and it’s guessing of colors in B&W photos is poor. But, I just spent an hour with it and it was a gas!!

Great app!!

Fun Family Activity l

This is great fun! Grandchildren love seeing their ancestors in color. We are still learning all the neat things you can do, but we are enjoying picking out family photos to colorize and enhance.

Fantastic App!

Pixelup is just what I’ve been searching for to restore and colorize photos of my parents back in the 40’s and 50’s Wow they look amazing and only took seconds to return a professional looking portrait that was so damaged before I could never share them with my family or post on line. Pixelup got the color right and mended tears and damage. I’m very happy with this app totally recommend, I honestly can’t wait to Pixelup more old photos!

Definitely scam this app is trash

OK, this app is just horrible. Also, when you try to contact support, there is no email on site so you can cancel your subscription. This just screams scam.

Just got the app

As a artist I love it when I’m painting portraits.. from a small picture

Works great

Pixelup produces an extremely detailed image compared to a lot of the other apps I’ve tried and it’s simple to use.

Fun product!

It’s fun to enhance and colorize the many old family pictures and share with relatives.
