Good minus the tutorial
I have been enjoying the game but the forced tutorial absolutely ruins the beginning experience. Not being able to skip it or figure out things on my own makes the beginning feel so tedious.
Upgrades become more expensive
I have really enjoyed playing this game so far, but as I progress it costs more stars to do anything, and the rate you earn the stars does not scale with the prices. So you end up trying to complete more pictures just for one upgrade, then you’re out of the free pictures and can’t do anything. On top of that I have arthritis so completing that many pictures at a time isn’t doable for me. I’ve been at a stand still with progress since it became 36 stars an upgrade as it takes me multiple sittings to complete enough pieces to do anything. I love the game and I’m rather sad that I’m not able to progress as easily as before.

Pretty good
I like the idea of this game. I often play it after work. It’s low pressure and the story is cute. However it seems like they have infrequent updates and no events, so I’m not sure how long I’ll be playing before I reach the end of the content. I’ve already been playing for over a month and would love to play for a long time because I find it relaxing, but a game with no future is a disappointing thought.

doesn’t load
it won’t load. i just downloaded this game to find that it says “failed to load resources” so, as a normal person, i check my wifi and it has full bars. strange? so i refresh the app, and it pops up again. no matter how many times i click “retry”, it will not load. i re-downloaded it and still, it won’t load. please fix your game, as i was looking forward to playing.

Relaxing but

Background Audio
The app with immediately stop any show, podcast or music I’m listening to when starting. I love playing games while having a podcast playing in the background. Its really the only way I play any casual mobile game, and unfortunately your app doesn’t allow for that. If you could fix this issue itd be wonderful

Settings
I understand how to play the game, that I have to click on the puzzles to proceed. Stop forcing me into starting puzzles and preventing me from changing the settings! I did like eight puzzles hoping after each one that the game would leave me alone long enough to be able to turn off haptics but apparently that’s too much to ask. Uninstalled at that point.

No more rooms?
I love this game however it’s been 3 years and still no new room updates for the IOS community. Idk if the android users have new rooms but it only allows you up to the kitchen and then it tells you to get their other game gallery. And while I like gallery this game is better. I sent them an email a while back asking about new room releases and they said it’s coming soon. It’s been over a year and still nothing. When will there be new rooms to decorate for the IOS users????

Really disappointed that this game force stop media apps with the new update. Coloring apps while listening to my audiobooks are the best way to wind down after a long day. At this point, I won’t be spending any more money on this game and probably won’t spend much time playing since there are plenty of other apps

subscription
i have been paying for the cheapest subscription for a couple months now. didn’t play the game for about 2 weeks and now it’s showing me ads again and won’t let me access the premium pictures even tho i have paid for the premium subscription. i have done “restore purchases” several times and it has stated that my purchases have been restored yet they haven’t even tho i have paid the subscription price this month. my premium perks are inaccessible. quite frankly im disappointed. i dont want to continue to play this game if it scams me out of my money.

the game crashes constantly while colouring. also very money oriented, getting more pictures to colour is almost impossible unless you spend money.
Good but a simple suggestion to improve
Pixel Woods is a fantastic pixel-coloring game. However, forced ads are never enjoyable, and games that rely too heavily on them often lose the opportunity to maintain a strong player base. Many merge games handle this better by offering incentivized ads instead. In those games, whenever a player wants or needs something, an optional rewarded ad is available. This is the approach Pixel Woods should adopt—removing forced ads and replacing them with incentivized ones. Ads may still be somewhat annoying, but they would no longer be pushed to the point where players uninstall the game due to excessiveness. Overall, the game is great, but if forced ads were replaced with incentivized ads, players would be far more inclined to watch ads for rewards rather than having their immersion disrupted by mandatory interruptions, you can keep the turn off annoying ads as even incentivised ads tend to get annoying to the point the player goes and buys it so they don’t have to continue watching ad after ad. It’s more of a win/win for the app developers and the players playing as they won’t be deterred like most colour by pixel games are structured when it comes to ad.
