Me and my partner’s go to takeaway, the pizza is always hot and fresh and delicious and I love the chicken burgers and the mixed wraps! perfect everytime and it’s always early or on time and the delivery drivers are lovely. can’t recommend enough!! thank you pizza daddy team 🫶🏻
Very unprofessional service
The app itself is excellent. HOWEVER I had an absolutely terrible experience with this takeaway when ordering through their app. As a disabled person who struggles to walk even short distances I rely on delivery services to bring food directly to my door unfortunately the service I received was not only inadequate but deeply disrespectful. I was really excited to eat this pizza because my friend had ordered it for me previously and the food was absolutely delicious however this time the experience was completely ruined. The Delivery Driver called me upon arrival and demanded that I meet him at his location refusing to even come to the entrance of my building let alone deliver to my door I explained my disability and offered to compromise by meeting him somewhere nearby but instead of cooperating he shouted at me. I explained that I would need to use a walking stick to come downstairs which is a painful and difficult process for me and ask for his patience. Instead of being understanding he continued to yell, told me to cancel my order if I wasn’t going to meet him in the location he wanted and that he had too many orders to leave the car and then hung up on me leaving me no room to speak. I then received a text from Food hub saying my order had been cancelled due to suspected fraudulent activity - this baseless accusation was made with no evidence leaving me feel humiliated and unfairly treated When I called the takeaway directly the pizza chef was kind and understanding assuring me he would inform the manager - Then confirmed which order was mine. He only mentioned two orders, mine and another and said not to worry and that this would get sorted out - however when the manager called me back the experience got even worse he repeatedly insisted that the driver wasn’t required to leave the car ignoring the fact that my complaint was about the drivers rude and abusive behaviour not his refusal to come inside I explained why I rely on delivery and how upsetting this was but the manager showed little empathy. The manager did tell me that I would receive a refund and I will be waiting for that but he also told me not to order from the store again and that the only complaints they ever get from people ordering from the city centre expecting his driver to enter their buildings. AGAIN ignoring the fact that I was trying to compromise with the driver. He said that if I really wanted the food then I should order again and when I said I was worried the driver was going to shout at me again instead of giving me the food I paid for he ended the call. The experience left me in tears and feeling devalued as both a customer and person if you have any accessibility needs avoid ordering from this takeaway the lack of respect understanding and professionalism is appalling it’s so disappointing because I was looking forward to the amazing food I had before but instead I was left with frustration and no meal
