Hi! That’s a great idea. We’ve included it in the new update. Try updating the app !
Needs better QA
Update button doesn't do anything.
Popularity and vs Usual value seem to be swapped on the restaurant screen, unless you mean "of usual". Baseline patterns are hard to rid, what is it?
What's the point of changing the app icon manually based on defcon level? Shouldn't this change automatically?
What does pizza index value mean? What's the possible range.
Either provide a self-explanatory interface or a better documentation.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. A few clarifications below. • Update button The Update button forces a manual reload to fetch fresh data. It is useful when the automatic refresh fails due to temporary network issues. It does not change state unless new data is available. • Popularity vs “Usual” They are not swapped. On the restaurant screen: • Left: Popularity, expressed as a percentage (e.g. POPULARITY: 67%) • Right: Activity relative to the normal baseline, expressed as “X% of usual” (e.g. 273% of usual) • Baseline patterns Baseline patterns represent the restaurant’s normal behavior calculated as a rolling median over the last 30 days. • Pizza Index The Pizza Index is a normalized score derived from current activity versus its baseline. • Range: 0-100 • Based on the median of the last 30 days Higher values indicate unusually high activity compared to normal. • App icons iOS does not allow apps to change their icon automatically. Icon changes must be user-initiated. The manual icon exists as an optional visual indicator for users who want the DEFCON level reflected on their home screen.
Pay Wall
Response from developer
Thanks for the feedback. The core features are fully usable without a subscription. The paid plan is optional and priced at $25 per year, not $250. It unlocks advanced tools for users who want them, but the free version remains fully functional.
