PlacePrize is a prize board for the places we share. Someone photographs a mess. Someone puts money on it. Someone cleans it up and proves it with before-and-after photos, and the prize pays in full when the Referee verifies the work is real. Pilot prizes with real money are live in New Haven, and the board works on public ground anywhere in the U.S. New in 1.2: The hunt is now a map. Your active claim shows the prize and your live location on one screen, with the distance and the original spot photo, so you can walk straight to the work. Prizes near you, one tap. The board's map now shows where you're standing among the pins. You stay signed in. Through the camera, between sessions, until you choose to sign out. How is the proof of cleanup verified?
The PlacePrize Referee checks photographic evidence against the original spot and job requirements. Uncertain cases can be escalated for human review.
Does PlacePrize have ads?
