PlacePrize
Put a prize on a place
About
This app allows users to place cash prizes on public spaces that need cleaning. Others can claim these prizes by clearing the mess and providing photographic proof of the cleaned area. Once verified, the prize money is transferred to the claimant.
What's New in PlacePrize
1.3.3
October 4, 2026
PlacePrize is a prize board for the places we share. See a mess in a park, on a trail, along your block? Put a prize on it. Anyone can claim the prize, clear the mess, and prove it with before-and-after photos taken right at the spot. Our Referee verifies the work before a dollar moves, and if your prize is never claimed, every cent of it comes back to you. Real places, real proof, real money. The pilot is running in New Haven, and the board works on public ground anywhere in the U.S. New in this update: smoother user interface, same prizes!
