Work a gold pan at the river — a merge game built on density sorting instead of dropping pieces into a column. Every tap pulses a swirl through the whole pan. Heavier same-grade nuggets settle toward the center while lighter gravel and silt ride out to the rim — a density-sort centrifuge you drive by hand. Fresh gravel scoops fall from the stream at the top with every swirl, so the pan is always filling. Let too much sediment crowd the rim lip and it overflows — the run ends.
