Beautiful app but how do I discover places and plan?

This app is stunning, but took me 10 minutes to understand how to use it (and im still not sure if im doing it right). I wanted it for planning an upcoming trip to morocco which i would usually make lists in google maps for - the route planning feature of this app made me want to try it. Unfortunately, i cant find a good way to browse places- when i click on a location I can add it, but it’s totally blank, i have to add in all details. It’s almost like you would have to do all the trip planning in another app and then import it tediously into here? Am i missing something?

Full photos access

I was looking forward to using this app to mark places that I find manually or on Instagram. However, I cannot proceed further till I give full photos access. I am not sure why is that a requirement but in 2025 and I don’t want to give any app access to my full photos library.

Thank you for caring about privacy. Placify doesn’t require “Full Photo Access” to use its core features; you can mark, edit, and manage places without granting photo permissions. Photo access is only for the “Memories” experience: when you revisit a saved place, photos taken at that time can be automatically associated with the place locally for easier reminiscing. You can also manually add photos at any time, or only select specific photos when needed. For stricter privacy, you can choose iOS’s “Limited Access (Selected Photos Only)” or “Add Photos Only,” and use the system photo picker. This ensures Placify only sees what you explicitly choose, never your entire library. All Placify data is stored and processed entirely on-device with zero cloud processing or upload—places, tags, and photo-place matching happen on your iPhone. We cannot and do not read your full photo library, and nothing is sent to our servers. Rest assured you’re in control.

Responsive Design Broken on iPhone Mini

App is basically unusable on iPhone mini. Consistently interactive components are blocked by other components. I can't enter any places because the keyboard covers the text.

Perfect for personal places collection and Travel Planning

Placify fills the gap left by Apple Maps with advanced features I’ve been searching for. I’ve tried Wanderlog and Tripsy before, but it’s felt overly complicated. Placify stands out with its user friendly design and intuitive interactions, making it perfect for personal place marking and trip planning. I’ve been looking for an app like this for a long time!

So obsessed with this app. Love the ideas of mapping my memories, and it is super easy to use — just upload a pic, and it pins the spot. Simple and fun! Love it!!!
