Exciting potential!
Hello, I’m really fascinated by this concept of this app. I found it on my iPad when it was just a few days old and I can’t wait to see what this app will bring, as I love the concept of exploring alien planets and I love what current AI technology is capable of. However, I can’t seem to figure out how to start an expedition in one of the available environments (which also all seem really interesting by the way), and I don’t really know how to interact with the app other then making journal entries. Maybe things are still getting polished up, but I thought I’d still put in my two cents.

Thanks so much for the kind words and thoughtful feedback! Expeditions are generated using Apple’s Foundation Model. If Apple Intelligence isn’t enabled, you’ll see a message saying “Apple Intelligence is turned off. Enable Apple Intelligence in Settings to generate expeditions.” You can learn how to enable it here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/121115 When you tap an environment, you’ll see a “Generate Expedition” button at the bottom of the screen to begin your journey. Version 1.1.4 adds clearer guidance when Apple Intelligence isn’t available or enabled and updates the App Store description to make this requirement easier to understand.
