FAQ
What does Planet Free VPN do?
Planet Free VPN provides a secure and private internet connection by creating an encrypted tunnel between your device and the internet. This hides your IP address and encrypts your data, protecting your online activities from hackers, ISPs, and surveillance. It allows you to browse, stream, and play with enhanced privacy and security.
What are the key features of the free version?
The free version requires no registration or personal information. It offers unlimited bandwidth and speed across 11 free worldwide server locations. It also features a strict no-logs policy, supports multiple protocols, allows an unlimited number of devices, and includes a killswitch function for added security.
Is this app free to use?
The core functionality of the VPN service is offered for free with unlimited usage. However, there is a premium version available with additional features such as ad and malware blocking, a wider selection of servers, and the ability to use up to 10 devices per account. This indicates a freemium model.
What are the benefits of using this VPN?
Using this VPN helps secure your personal information, such as credit card details and login credentials, during online transactions. It also allows you to access local resources securely from anywhere, virtually relocate to different countries, and enhances your overall online privacy by hiding your IP address and encrypting your connection.
How does the killswitch function work?
The killswitch function automatically cuts your internet connection if the VPN server connection is lost. This prevents your real IP address from being exposed and ensures that your online activity remains private and secure even during unexpected disconnections from the VPN server.
