I have a number of tools, some old-school manual and a couple new-school digital, I use to know the planetary hours amongst other astrological data.
I wanted a simple tool to use with others on my device so I can immediately know planetary hours data for a particular location, not my home.
This simple concept app is unfortunately slaved to the GPS requiring the user to manually import the coordinates. Yet one cannot ascertain if it accurately calculated the coordinates since there is no visual (simple map-based) confirmation.
If that physical data cannot be verified I cannot verify the hours are accurate unless I compare it with other trusted tools, which to be blunt, I am not going to do when I pay for something, regardless the price.
I immediately removed it from my device. 99 USA cents wasted.
I am leaving 2 stars because it is a good effort for a penny less than a dollar … but I am not a fan.

Works as expected
Make sure you allow it access to your location and update the gos and you are good to go. Nice tool at reasonable price.
Not updated for a long time
Same app is updated for android, so this is paid on android is free. On android there are extra Information for example it says the hour where the planet is active example Jupiter 13:34 to 14:32 ... no like this one; and this out of date version don’t explain anything about the planet. Come on guys be fair and update this app soon.

Does what you need
Displays hours for the day/night and you can choose a date specifically to see the hours on another day past or present.
Comes in handy
Great app. Simple to use. Seems accurate and takes the guess work out of which planetary hour were operating in. Suggestions for improving this app: would like the option to mute the page-turning sound without having to put my phone on vibrate; it's annoying when flipping between pages within the app. Maybe also add the ability to permanently change the volume as a setting (similar to Google Maps where the audio can be set to low, med, & high). That way I don't have to lower the volume each time I want to use the app. Also: Would love to see this become a more complete application where we can see upcoming void of moon events and moon phases. And finally: Under the legend, it would be nice to see the correspondences of each planet in the legend; The names of each planet in the legend seem redundant or unnecessary since anyone using this app should know what each planetary symbol means. Anyways, it's a great app, it's simple and easy to use, but it has lots of room for improvement.

I got this app because I thought it would be something I could use but it won't even load.You took my money,the icon is on my screen but I get nothing.Id give you less than one star if I could.I went to your app support and all that's there is you bragging about how great this app is.You got my money so I guess I'm just supposed to go away.Avoid this app unless you enjoy paying for something you can't even use.

Doesn't work with iOS 8.1.1
This was a great app but since I upgraded to iOS 8.1.1 it won't launch. Until the company updates it, it is useless. It's a shame because I really liked it.

I like this, it does exactly what it says- posts the planetary hour. The graphic is simple yet very striking. I would like to see some keywords detailing planetary correspondences on this app for us novices.

Used the GPS setting. Said it was night and it is actually mid-day. I deleted it.

NICE!
I have to agree with Edwin Hofmann-Smith it would be LOVELY if you can check out the future dates to plan your magickal applications, however I did double check the gps, Lattitude and Longitude and found this to be the most accurate calculator out there. I also must say that even though it is a inconveinence to not be able to see the future dates I find that if you plan your magickal application in preparation for the day you wish to do it and use this calculator last and spring itno action then you should be fine.^^ Just a little pre-planning is all it takes. I am very happy that this calculator has taken the guesswork out of the hours I live in MST and there am constantly confused lol, not anymore! Thank you Apple!

Only for today's date
I really like this simple to use app but, just a warning, it is only good for today's date. For that I give it 4 stars. Wouldn't it be nice to choose the date?! It is hard to plan future magical actions or future ceremony times otherwise!

I like this Planetary Hour Calculator.
Out of all the Planetary Hour calculators I have used, this one seems to be the simplest and straight forward. I like that it shows the current hour in Real Time. I also REALLY REALLY REALLY like that it allows you to use GPS. FINALLY someone listens to the iPhone/iPad community.
