Amazing visuals (also glitched???)
I’ve been using this app for a while now, and it’s so visually stunning. It’s great for putting something on the screen while I’m listening to music and doing something else. Also SPACE IS COOL!!!
Note; I’m unsure whether or not this is a glitch or I just don’t know how to bring it up, but the hud seems to have disappeared and I can’t seem to get it to appear no matter what I do. It used to appear for me before, but now I can’t get it to work. I’m on an iPad mini, not a phone.

Hi thanks so much for the kind review! I’m so glad you’re enjoying it. Apple keep releasing new ios versions which breaks things because the app is really old and flakey now (it’s hard to keep it working!) I also use an iPad mini and it works ok - I suspect you may have orientation lock on? Even if you haven’t, try rotating your device to portrait and back to landscape. It should make the hud reappear. I’m working on a complete remake that should make it much more stable!
Doesn’t work
For some reason, I have Apple Music, but the app still doesn’t work, and I allowed it to access the app, and it still doesn’t work. Why?

I know I’m late to the party but I didn’t realize this classic app had returned. I used the original app over a decade ago and was so disappointed that it was removed from the App Store. I’m very pleased to see that this app has returned!! thanks to the developer for bringing back a classic 100💯

its finally back. ive waited for more than a decade since the first release of this app.. this app is the best . because i listen to mainly instrumemtals and im very selective on vocalist , this app makes space travel & instrumentals epitome at its best .. PLEASE KEEP THIS APP forever available.

Can you upgraded on Spotify, just asking. I always less listening on Apple Music.

Thank you for recreating this app! I was so sad when it was discontinued originally! Any chance of making a version for Mac?! Such a great visualizer while playing music! Would love to see a version for Mac!!!
Side note - I can’t seem to find the control panel on the iPad version. Am I missing something or is there a way to get that to appear?

This is an incredible experience for interacting with your music. I change the orientation on my iPad and phone frequently, so it would be helpful to have the app respond to the orientation changes, as well as have the option to hide the controls/have them fit in any orientation.
Also, is it possible to have it play specific playlists or the whole library randomly or sequentially?

No longer works
Remembered I used to love the visuals, went to comeback and download the newest version, but when you try to start the app, it shows the splash screen and then crashes. I hope they fix this because is an amazing visual

I was just showing off the old Planetary on my iPad 1 because it haven’t been available for ages in the AppStore.
It’s been a few years since I checked so I figured it would be worth another search.
Nothing comes up if you just ‘Planetary’ in the AppStore 😭
I then decided to dig around the internets to see if there maybe was a way to revive the old version and low and behold. Planetary Remastered shows up.
I can’t believe it!!! It looks glorious on the 12.9” iPad.😍
Thank you so much remaking this lost gem from a time when apps was fun and futuristic. Now most apps are too user friendly and all looks the same.

Back and still beautiful
When the original launched, I hoped this was the future of information visualisation, beautiful and intuitive combined to create something wonderful.
I loved the concept and was saddened when the app fell out of support.
I’m so glad to have thought to check if by some miracle it was back, and was so pleased to see it resurrected. To me, this is visionary and how we should be thinking about interfaces, unshackling ourselves from tradition and exploring possibilities.
My only request would be to look and see if the same interface could sit over an API from Spotify too, to acknowledge where the music listening trends have evolved to.
