Controller on Mac laptop
Love the game on iPad, however, you’re limited to keyboard on the Mac laptop. This is despite the fact that it shows that a controller is identified on the game settings screen..
Can’t flip the interface
Despite not being able to flip the interface, I really like the game’s nostalgic feel! The controls add an interesting dynamic because the joystick works for revolution of the player, not as a direction vector indicator like other games. The joystick just points the ship, and the thrust button does the rest.

I WANT to LOVE it... but...

Planetoids Deluxe is very reminiscent but not identical to Asteroids Deluxe from the 1980’s. Even so, this game has a fantastic holographic style back screen, great gameplay mechanics, excellent sound effects and best of all, it’s fun to play. Is there a learning curve? Yes, but it’s not that steep especially if you’ve already played this in the arcade. To the Devs, great work! I’d love to see a single virtual joystick replace those double arrows and options for auto fire and shields. Thanks!

Awesome Realistic Version of the Classic Arcade Game!!!
Was very impressed with this version of the classic arcade game Asteroids! It also includes Asteroids Deluxe with the glowing background/asteroid field. The sounds are top notch and it is also free. If you like the old classic arcade games or what some people call retro classics, get this game!!! Please add Icade support if you get a chance as well as think about making a few other arcade games as you did everything right. Great Job!!!
