Can’t determine my location

App doesn’t work!

Response from developer

This is the first report I'm receiving that there's a problem with the location determination. Would you mind emailing me at support@planewatcher.app so I can help you figure it out? Thanks!

Funktioniert auch 2023 noch

Ein Update der Flugplätze wäre mal nötig. Allein in FIR ED hat sich einiges getan, seit die in PlaneWatcher verwendete Flugplatzliste aktualisiert wurde.

"Unleashing Radar Power: A Game-Changing App for Watch Enthusiasts"

I really enjoy using this app on my watch! It's incredible to have a fully functioning radar right on my wrist. Just imagine the convenience! The radar even rotates to show me the direction. I can discover aircraft that are usually not visible on other platforms. The only feature I wish for is the ability to see where the aircraft took off from and where it's headed. Overall, it's a fantastic app!

Freaking Amazing!

This app is by far the best ADS-B watch app, PERIOD! The UX/UI is exemplary!

Best ADS-B watch App

This is absolutely the best Apple Watch ADS-B traffic app. PlaneWatcher loads extremely quickly, adds situational awareness with track-up or North-up and has intuitive controls. This app has saved my bacon on more than one occasion in the air and always satisfies my curiosity while on the ground. It’s hands down the fastest way to identify a plane you see/hear in the sky. Don’t think about it any more, just purchase it, check out their other aviation accident app.

Brilliant!

Brilliant! Works as expected on the Apple Watch Ultra.

Helpful for aviation ground professionals

Flight department staff at FBO uses this app to track aircraft arriving at their terminal without having to wait for the front desk to announce ETAs on radio. Lots of potential.

Fun app

Nice app, well worth the modest cost. As other users have said, origin and destination info would be icing on the cake, but I guess that data could be expensive. I had an early problem with North showing about 90 degrees off, but opening the watch compass once solved that. Speedy response from the developer when I emailed him about it.

Great application

Would be perfect if plane departure and destination included in information.
Developer very helpful and quick to respond.

Does not work

I have the latest Apple Watch 7 paired with an iPhone 13 pro. This app is crap. It loads but doesn’t work.

No longer works on latest os

Won’t show up on phone, demands location privacy on the watch but can’t be enabled. Doesn’t show up in watch app either. Needs update.

Great app but add destinations!

As mentioned in a couple of other reviews, be really cool if you could add where the plane departed from and where it’s destination will be!

Doesn’t tell you where the aircraft is coming from/going to

It would be better if there was a map with the aircraft over it. Also, it doesn’t tell us where they are coming from or going to.

Great app!

Any chance you could add the aircraft’s departure and arrival airports? Other than that, this is a great app!

must reinstall from watch

if you have to delete and reinstall, reinstall from the app store on your watch, not on the phone

Unable to download on newer Apple Watch

I bought myself a newer IPhone and upgraded my watch. I can’t download the app on my watch again. In my purchase history it is reflected. When I backed up my earlier IPhone, the app never backed up.

Kindly help.
Thanks

Response from developer

Hi, thanks for the feedback, please drop me an email to support@planewatcher.app, I'd be happy to help you troubleshoot the problem!

Absolutely Fantastic service and brilliant app in general!

I downloaded the app on my Apple Watch a couple days ago and it wasn’t working properly probably because of my watch and Apple ID issues, it is now working after an amazing thread of 6 emails to support and The service was phenomenal! I really recommend this app for anyone! Thank you so much!

It just works!

What an excellent app! It’s so intuitive that I was just able to install and use it. Works like a dream on my Apple Watch 5. Even turns as I move in line with the built in compass. Data is second to none and kudos to ADSBexchange for supplying it. Can’t rate it highly enough 👍🏼Well worth £2.99

Useful app but needs further development

I have just started to use this app and great to have access to the information without having to look at my phone.

I find that some of the aircraft have incorrect information attached - eg type or ownership.

It would also be helpful if a future development is using icons that match the type of aircraft similar to FR24 or ADSB Exchange
