Rarely correct

4 photos of the same shrub with a different answer every time. Tested on plants I know and those answers were wrong too. It can’t be trusted.

Missed identifying

It’s a nice little app. But not as accurate. I took a picture to find the name of a fruit that I couldn’t remember. After it scanned, it listed a slew of information regarding the fruit, which I like, but the only problem is that it wasn’t an apple. It was about an inch in diameter that resembles an apple. I even tried it on my carnivorous plants and the only one it got right was my venus flytrap. So, it’s a hit and miss with the app.

Why you said it is free and no option available to buy it for free!!!

There is no option to select at the very bottom right of the paywall to redeem: there is only a yearly plan for 39.99$ or 3 days free then 7.99$/week !

No Free Lifetime like advertised

I saw this in the apps gone free app and decided to download it. Said to do the onboarding and there would be the lifetime free on the bottom right in small print. Nope- not there, even took screen shots of it.

Not impressed

Why do they always make these apps in portrait-mode only? I am NOT going to turn my iPad Pro sideways to use it. Got first plant photo wrong--I know it's some sort of fruit tree, as I planted it from a seed. I will continue to see if it works on other plants and may up my review if so.

Misidentified first plant 🫤

After downloading, and getting the life subscription, I scanned my first plant. It totally missed identified the plant! Worthless app! Deleting it.

Great for plant lovers!

Plant finder is a really great app for all plant lovers. If you love collecting different plants, and flowers and would love more information about them, this is for you! I use it often as I collect and buy many different kinds of plants and it’s been very helpful in providing me with information about the plant including how to take care of it.
