Pay £40 a year for a link to Wikipedia?! 🤔
This app gives a quick plant identity. It made a mistake when I was using a it, but a forgivable one as it’s a plant that is often confused with a close relative. So, three stars. But… that’s where the usefulness begins and ends. No information about the culinary or medicinal uses of the plant, its propagation, whether it’s a friend or a fiend. If you click on “more information”, you’re redirected to… yep. Heart-crushingly, and with zero effort on the part of the developers, you’re sent straight to Wikipedia 🤦♀️ This app is so poor that you don’t even get to keep a catalogue of your plant discoveries, so you have to make your own records if you want to remember what you’ve found 😭
In contrast, my rock identification app tells me the age of the rock, how it was formed, how common it is, its varieties, its uses, cautions I should take if I want to polish it, and I get the option of adding it to my library. And that app? Half the price 🤷♀️

Worthless
Don’t be fooled by this EXPENSIVE APP It will not tell you what is wrong the plant! I thought that’s what I was paying for based on their advertising
So now I’m out 40 bucks for nothing-

Wish I could just pay for the app instead of a very pricey subscription
I have this developer’s “Plant Light Meter” app which I purchased for $3, and it’s one of my favorites. Wish this one had the same price model, I’d be fine paying more. Unfortunately, I think I’ll stick to google lens.
Garbage
Won’t identify anything until you pay
Love this identifier!
Can’t tell you how much joy this app ads to my travels! Whether roaming here at home in the US or traveling overseas across Europe, it adds so much to every walk or hike. And I learn so much by following the links. Thank you!
