Good for the price
Great reference though some popular garden varieties are not listed. Mapping is cool with the compatible planting function. There are other systems much fancier but I don't need to design my back yard, just planning a bunch of containers and a raised bed. Works for me and cheaper than most!

Awesome and easy to use, just wish it had an actual map of your property to place your gardens
Lots of great features
There is a wealth of information in this app. It has been a huge help for the novice gardener like myself. I like how it follows the square foot gardening technique. The only thing I would add would be to add odd shaped gardens. It works as is but I have to setup multiple beds. Highly recommended
great variety
i love this app for variety and user-friendliness, but it isn’t the best for companion planning. it won’t pick up all that’s not compatible when planning which can be a pain. i’ve had to use other apps to double-check what i’m planting, otherwise it’ll be missed.
Great visualization/Information
I have several raised beds for which I’ve been spending a lot of time trying to use spreadsheets to visualize the contents of each garden, rotate veggies and companion plant - this app helps with all that and more -it’s been a real time-saver.
No customer service and they took my money!
I LOVE gardening and was excited to try this app as a trial. I accidentally purchased premium and thought that’s okay, I’d love to use it as long as I bought it and it’s a year subscription. However I cannot log in no matter what I do (it’s in my Apple account) and despite emailing customer service twice, I have yet to hear back. I’ve never left a negative review anywhere but I am sad I spent money and cannot utilize the app. I filed a claim with Apple for a refund but it was denied twice. I believe I spent $24.99

Easy to start using & “grows” w you!
LOVE IT! Been a User since early days. Simple to start and accommodates as much detail as you want as You grow! Great way to plan & track & learn. And the App continues to “grow” too.

Pretty app but not pretty enough to justify the expensive price to unlock more than one garden.

Great app
This app is fairly simple in design but has been essential in planning my garden. It’s helped me with pairing plants and layout. It also lets you know how many of each plant to plant in a square foot. Definitely worth the price
Really enjoy having this app as a tool
A little clunky to use at first but able to get a hang of.

Love it all. One suggestion so far. Make a map overlay of watering quantity so certain plants can be grouped based on water needs.
Waste of time
The idea is great BUT unless you have hours to work on setting it up, it isn’t worth the price. They need to spend a lot of time on making the actual setup process, linking IOS to Mac easier. I could not figure it out and kept on getting error messages on trying to just CREATE a password to link. There is no easy way to put plants in your garden and the instructions are poor. I tried to setup ten beds and was unable to remove the one mistake I put in and have no idea how I even got it in there. Again, great idea, terrible execution.

Very handy
My only complaint would be that there are quite a lot of plants missing, flowers like anemone, chrysanthemum. Seems odd you can’t even add it and import your own personal growing info..

Beginner or not, this app can help you stay on track with what you are planting when and where, what’s best to plant next to what, when the best time to germinate or sow seeds, when you actually sowed or transplanted, what temp and how much water each needs, common issues with each and what to look for, I mean the list goes on and on.. could not recommend more!!

Pretty easy to use
For the most part, this is fairly easy to use. Occasionally, I have problems, adding plants to the garden or, or understanding how many of a type of plant can go into a one by one space. I like the reminders about planting dates and the task list is great.
User friendly
Within minutes, I was able to plan my raised beds, soaker hoses and all! All plant specifications at your fingertips! I’m pumped! Thank you! And a shout out to Backyard Gardeners for turning me on to this VERY useful- user friendly app! 💯🌱☀️❤️
Must have app!
I’ve used this app to help plan my garden for the last few years. I upgraded to the paid version and it was well worth it. The developer is frequently updating and adding features.
Perfect for planning
This app is just what I needed for planning my garden this spring. I love that I can use it on my desktop and my phone. I used it quite a bit while planning and then recently when buying plants for my vegetable garden. I just found the podcast and learned some new things about the app from them there. The seed box to inventory your own seed collection is wonderful. So, I’m enjoying both the app and the podcast. Recommend as a good tool for planning and planting.
