Could’ve been great but needs adjustments

I really liked this app at first. Easy to set up and stay organized. Unfortunately, the harvest times for nearly all my plants are incorrect. It keeps telling me to harvest my cucumbers just a couple weeks after sowing seeds. And I’m not able to change it. And it wants me to water often despite lots of rain. Not for me unfortunately, but could be great.

We are working on it and it will going to be fixed

Can’t do anything on free plan

Logged in and set my location. Couldn’t even add a plant cause the app was so focused on upgrading me to a paid plan. Couldn’t even add my state as there were only about 5 states listed in the pulldown menu and the hover over command did not highlight my state. Worthless.

Response from developer

Well, the app providing 1 month free trial.

Useless

They make you join a paid subscription but it is not worth it. None of the information is 1) convenient or 2) something you can’t find for free on google in 2 seconds - so why would I bother paying for this?

Response from developer

It's never possible for Google or any other tool to continue monitor you garden plants and give you personalized tips. Google is completely for another purpose; Google can't do what the app is doing. It analyzes current and upcoming weather and microclimate and then suggests to you, sends you notifications when the harvest time comes and much more.

Finally an app that gets gardening

Most plant apps just tell you generic stuff. This one actually pays attention to your climate, your plants, and what season you're in. The weekly planting recommendations are really accurate for my area.

Simple and actually useful

Not overwhelming like other gardening apps. Easy to add your plants, set reminders, and get on with your day. The push notifications are perfectly timed — not too many, not too few.

Upgraded to premium, no regrets

Used the free version for a month, then upgraded. The daily garden tips know what I'm growing and give advice that actually applies to my plants. Feels like having a gardener friend

Frost alerts saved my tomatoes

Got a frost warning notification late one night and managed to cover my tomato plants in time. Would have lost the whole crop without it. That alone made this app worth downloading.

Great for beginners like me

Just getting into gardening and this app made it so much less intimidating. Tells me exactly what to do and when by considering my local weather, climate and so many local factors.

Doesn’t work

This app sends me a “tip” notification everyday for my plants. When I tap to open, nothing happens. I can see half the advice it’s sending and it’s annoying. I’ve tried to fix it and nothing works. 0% recommend.

Response from developer

The issue has been fixed. Now, when you tap the tip notification, it will open the tip content. Please have a look again. Also, you can enable or diable the tip notification in the app notification settings.
