Searching for restaurants doesn’t work and the app is too large to fit on the device screen itself. Seems like a good idea if it worked.

Would be great but the app doesn’t work. Whenever I try to bring up options around me it just spins and stops working :(
This needs to be linked to Google Maps/Yelp!
Plastic Score is what I’ve been looking for for years! I want to support businesses that promote zero waste and use sustainable or compostable materials. I also want to be able to bring my own cup or use a reusable cup/utensils where possible. If this can somehow be linked to Google Maps or Yelp, people can see all the relevant info in one spot, kind of like the carbon emissions rating in Google Flights.

Could be my most important app
But no one uses it in my area.
IMO the solution is simple, make the rating quick and easy. Let ratings be based on user perception instead of objective ratings (just like this 3-star rating I’m giving right now). The only things the user should need to select is dine-in vs take-out and then their own sustainability 1-5 rating. Everything else could be optional for the objective rating.
I love the app idea, but in order to reach critical mass, it needs to be functional to a bigger user base.

Wonderful idea, buggy and terrible app
App crashes, turns white, and is utterly useless. Great concept, terrible execution.
Great Idea
After hearing about how much plastic pollution is actually present in our world right now, this app is a great idea to take a stab at and really minimize some of the worst offenders. Restaurant should be held accountable for all the trash they produced and I love that the app gives regular people the ability to voice their concerns. Can’t wait to see where this goes in the future!

Great way to do your part
I’m a pre teen trying to help save the environment and so many thing don’t work for me. But this is AMAZING!!!!! It’s good for the environment, community, businesses and really fun. Honestly I can’t think of a reason not to download. The turtle idea is genius and I really want to grow my turtle! SO MUCH FUNNN!

So excited about this app!
I’ve been using PlasticScore for a few weeks now and am so excited about the possibilities! Like Yelp for waste, it not only helps me find waste-conscious restaurants but also helps our community give valuable actionable feedback to restaurants. I find greenwashing is such an issue in the industry (and no fault of the restaurants). This app helps push back against it, and has the potential to change our disposable food packaging culture.

Plastic score has done a terrific job creating a platform for us to rate restaurants wrt their sustainability efforts. I’m excited for this app to takeoff and start having the power to drive change in our disposable world. The power is in our hands!
Fantastic app
I really feel like I’m helping the planet when I use this app. It’s great that I can type in and find the exact location I’m wanting to use instead of just a general location. Fingers crossed they implement a notification so I can remember to use it more but other than that I love it.

Download it now! Great app and an even better cause. While policy change will be the most important step towards a plastic free future, choosing a restaurant based on their environmentally friendly packaging helps on that journey.

Finally an app that rewards restaurants for being environmentally-conscious and allows consumers to choose accordingly. Make a difference with both dine-in and take-out choices! Great user interface and search function.

To make a difference with plastic pollution each of us must do our part. In an age of Coronavirus, some restaurants will manage their deliveries and take outs responsibly while others will not. This app gives us the tools needed to encourage the best practices and to have the buying public reward those restaurants that do right by the environment we all must share.
