Disappointed
Just like all the other grocery shopping apps on here, it does not do what it claims to do. You cannot scan the groceries as you go for a running total.
Free is Clickbait
Can’t do anything without the subscription, so why do you say it’s free? Deleting it was free.
Game changer
As a grad student who needs to keep their budget at the forefront, Plateful has been an absolute game changer in the world of grocery list budgeting. The app is consistently being updated with useful tools that are direct responses to user feedback and is only being made better by it. Highly recommend using it if budgeting for groceries is something you do often or would like to start doing. This is a great start!

Beware the free trial
It will actually charge your card when it says “no payment due today”. I hope I like the app because apparently I just subscribed. I’m still going to try it, that was just a surprise. Will update the review with an actual opinion later.
Made grocery shopping so much easier for us
My wife and I started using Plateful recently, and it’s made grocery trips so much smoother. We can both add items to the same list in real time, so nothing gets forgotten. It’s also helped us stick to our budget and cut down on random impulse buys. Super simple, clean, and actually useful!

You have to pay to use it. Defeats the purpose if you’re trying to save money

Plateful is the only grocery app I've found that shows REAL-TIME PRICES from multiple stores. I can build my list from Walmart, Target, and other stores all in one place and see exactly how much I'll spend before I even leave the house.

Wanted to love it
Unfortunately I found that it didn’t have the functionality it was presented as having, and that even deleting my account posed issues. I’ll eventually subscribe again once the bugs are worked out, but I don’t think it’s ready yet. Great idea but the execution still needs work.
A must for grocery shopping
I love that it has all of the grocery stores I shop at and I can easily add things to my list. I definitely spent less than I planned between 2 different stores so that’s a win! I do have a suggestion on making a back button in the app to get back to the previous page when browsing a store. Definitely would recommend

Just downloaded, figuring out how to use
After messing around a bit, I’m starting to figure out how it works. I do wish there was a bit of guidance to help you learn how to navigate the app. Also, when I go into a list, the navigation bar at the bottom disappears and I can’t get back to the Home Screen without exiting and re-entering the app.
This definitely has potential! I’m going to stick with it for now and see how it goes!

Very Clean & Practical
This app is super clean and easy to use while becoming an all in one way to keep up with my grocery list and meal prep for each day. I love how easy it is to visit actual store websites to compare pricing and you can even see the macros. 5/5 stars!
Awesome app, more than it seems
Great app for budgeting, especially if you’re trying to bulk, but can even be used to budget for more than just food

So far I love it, clean minimalist UI, I am running into an issue though, each time I open the app and get asked to type my email & password. I don’t even get the autofill option.
