Plates In A Day turns the classic road-trip license plate game into something you can play every single day.
Spot a plate from another state, tap it, and watch your count climb. At midnight, the board resets and a fresh day begins, so there is always a reason to keep your eyes open on the school run, the commute, or the long drive to grandma's.
HOW IT WORKS
• Each state, province, or country is a tile showing its plate code and name. Tap it the moment you spot that plate, and it turns yellow with a check to mark it found.
• Search, or filter to what you've found or what's still out there.
• Your count, progress bar, and streak sit at the top and stay pinned as you scroll.
PICK YOUR REGION
• United States: all 50 states plus DC, with an optional toggle for territory, diplomatic, and federal plates.
• Canada: every province and territory.
• European Union: all 27 member countries.
BUILD A STREAK
• Find at least one plate a day to keep your streak alive, and see the last seven days at a glance.
• Unlock achievements for your first plate, double digits, a perfect day, and week-long streaks, and see how close you are to the next one.
• The Progress tab charts your plates per day and shows your best day, daily average, and days played.
REMEMBER WHERE YOU WERE
• History shows the month as a calendar, shaded by how many plates you found each day.
• Turn on location tagging and the app quietly notes where you spotted each plate.
• Open any day to see its plates and your finds on a map, with the place name and time for each pin.
• Location tagging is optional and off by default.
MADE FOR THE ROAD
• Ask Siri: "Mark plate found in Plates In A Day" or "Check my Plates In A Day progress."
• Adjustable haptics, full VoiceOver support, and a context menu that reads a plate code aloud.
• Available in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian, switchable inside the app.
YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
• Everything is stored on your device. Optional iCloud sync keeps today's finds in step across your iPhone and iPad.
• No account, no ads, no tracking.
Whether you are a completionist chasing a perfect day or a parent looking for a game the back seat can play, Plates In A Day gives every trip a scoreboard!
