Not a good app
I recently installed the app and also took a paid subscription for the same. However it never got reflected in the app and they are again asking me to pay. I tried calling the customer care also but to no avail. They do not answer calls. Very disappointed.
Extremely Helpful and Courteous đź‘Ť
We had an issue with the app, in beginning of 2026 and it was solved very easily by the customer care support, Premankur. He was very courteous and solved the problem in a prompt, crisp and appropriate manner. Not only that, we even got some extra benefits to counter our dissatisfaction with the app for a couple of days. Here I would like to state that the problem was minor and nothing serious compared to some other apps we use. Instead, the accessibility and good behaviour of the client support was a breath of fresh air. This kind of customer centric approach is pretty rare and is highly appreciated.
Before that we were not regular users of the app and the channel, though we loved the content of what we had watched. Since this incident, we have started watching the app and the content more often. Currently, we regularly watch one of the ongoing soaps. We love the fact that this channel brings up the traditional aspects connected with Bengal and it’s a great thing when we are based out of Bengal. Of course, there are areas of improvement, but the client centric attitude and focused approach towards the Bengal oriented themes makes Platform8 a one of a kind OTT platform. Keep it up.

Very limited platform support
Doesn’t work with Apple TV. Doesn’t allow to cast or mirror to watch on TV. Only I can watch is in iPhone
