This app does not perform as advertised. It does play all tracks on an album then shuffle to another album. It will play a single track then shuffle to another album. It will play a complete album but does not shuffle to another album, it just stops.

Best App for Displaying Album Art

This is a wonderful app for playing music where displaying the album art is a priority. Most music apps, including Apple’s, diminish the album art and clutter up the screen with a host of other non-essentials. The Platinum Album Music Player does a terrific job of putting the album art out front, where it belongs – utilizing the full screen while playing. Would that Apple’s native Music application, or iTunes, or any other player on the market offered this at least as an option! Since they don’t, get this one – it’s made for the task.

Perfect Music App.

This app is so good. It looks amazing and is very easy to use. Even after all these years it is still my favourite music app for listening to my albums. I emailed the developer with a problem and they fixed the app overnight. Brilliant. Thank you.

Cover art is the focus here

The full screen cover art is really nice and I like how I can swipe to the next song.

Very worthy alternative to Music app

Album art...I canNOT see it on Apple’s free app!
Crazy to squint at a tiny album image where a tap should zoom it. But the total lack of album art support by Apple can at least be overcome in part by Platinum’s full screen front cover view.
It just makes sense, right.
Other features of this app are fun too, but its search function would be better if it grouped my selected results for viewing of albums as well as it organizes them in a text list.
Still, it’s a good app, playing me some A Grande now. Talent.

Love the visuals but need to keep reloading art

I like how this app lays out the album's but everytime I open it - it reloads all album art. Really want to see an update that addresses this.

Schön wäre noch eine Möglichkeit per Drag and Drop eine temporäre Playlist zu erstellen.

Sehr gut: Hier wird man nicht, so wie bei Wall of Music, dazu genötigt sich mit Deezer, Sponty oder Apple Music zu verbinden!

It does the most important thing ...

In Apple's continual efforts to ruin the music experience by eliminating visible art ... there stands only one defense. This app displays full screen album art. You know, the way the music app used to do.

The app itself seems to break down on large music libraries but I realize not everyone has 30,000 tracks. So I just use the native music app to queue music, and then switch to this one to see album art. It would probably work much better for people with small music libraries.

Please try the latest update, it has a lot of improvements, including an on-demand loading of album art that may help with large collections in general. I'd be really curious to know if it can handle the large library now. If not, please send email from within the app with more details about the collection, device, iOS version, etc.

Crashes on iPhone X

Gorgeous app, but crashes after a minute or two of loading my large library. Email support non-responsive.

Fantastic app!

This app displays your album art beautifully, even better than iTunes the way it opens up. It took me a moment to find the controls they are located on a slide out menu on either side of the screen. There are more features to choose from on this program. The program will only accommodate what you have created in iTunes already however. You can also change the album art to larger incremental sizes! Even better than the initial display is the presentation of the album art while you are playing your music. You can open it up full size while you are playing music. This looks absolutely awesome on my 12" iPad Pro! Once I downloaded the app and gave it permission to access my my music it immediately grabbed it and opened right up...Fantastic app...I love it!!! Kudos to the developer!

Two suggestions

Great app but please let the whole screen feature the album artwork. Second suggestion remove the information bubble from above the artwork. It looks awful! Not a bad app for $2.00 just some tweaks and these two additions would make this my default player!
