Don’t download

The UI disappeared except for the settings button.

Freezes often

This game is super fun but it often freezes not even allowing us to go back home. We have to close the app out and start over multiple times during a short play session.

Response from developer

Hi heathlynn11. We are glad you are enjoying the game but sorry to hear you are having an issue with it freezing. It would be great if you could email us at playdohsupport@scarybeasties.com with any details about the problem and we can try to find a solution for you.

An idea

Hi I enjoy this game 10/10 but not that great for 9 years olds I was thinking you choud make the play doh guys talk and have Threr own interest but it’s really great

Response from developer

Hi. So glad to hear you are enjoying the game! Those are great ideas and we'll add them to the list for future updates. Thanks very much for the review!

Great potential

This game has so much potential. I enjoyed trying it with my kids but would much rather go back to the Crayola game. This Play-Doh game is aimed too low, let the kids work out how to play without constant guidance with the pointer hand. More ‘free play’ would be welcome, kids aren’t silly and they will work things out pretty quickly.

Plus the settings interface is broken with ‘missing text’ everywhere instead of the actual setting titles.

Great game but

I love the game but I think it needs more things to do. Like maybe make your own color of Play-Doh

Response from developer

So good but this

I so so so love this game but I really think you should add a restaurant and a doctors office too and maybe a bigger Easter hunt as well bye and if you see this it’s a really good idea to make play dough come to life a really good game

Play-doh World

This game is so boring

Really fun but it could use some updating

This game is really fun but why make houses when you can’t even go in your house!?!?!!?!!!?!?
Please make this update soon
How long does it take to make updates? Please reply

Response from developer

Hi TJ. Really glad to hear you are enjoying the game and thanks for all the great suggestions! We’ve got lots of content planned and we’ll add these ideas into the mix. Creating houses for your characters is already in the plan for one of the regular updates so keep checking back in.

I like this game, but there’s one problem

I got this game because I saw there was a house, but you cannot go inside the house. That is why I’m giving it 4 stars. Can you please do an update where you can go in the house and add furniture? and can you also make it where you can make your own furniture?

Response from developer

Thanks for your review Sunsets and roses. We have lots more content coming including an update in a few months time that will let you go into your houses to add furniture and design the insides. We hope you’ll like it!

New houses important

new houses are so good please add more types and let me decorate inside

I’m just going home 🏡 and I’m just getting dressed.

Most likely not the one I had but play doh is not the same as play dough? NO! It is the same dough dodge that you use in the first round of dough 😋😋😀😃

Out of all the mobile games, this one is my favorite ❤️

My kids do not get a lot of screen time, so I try to be picky with what they play and make sure it has non-stimulating visuals and helps them use their thinking muscles. When I first subscribed, I noticed my kids customizing characters and saw a few different buildings they were jumping between. They always asked for it and after a few months I got curious and decided to play for a minute to see what they’ve been putting so much time into. I thought I was just going to some the cute characters they’ve made walking down the street, but instead I was surprised with a huge assortmant of well designed buildings with cute little games they can use their characters on. I also got to see all of the projects they customized and the game saved like an art gallery in every building. I spent a good chunk of time just enjoying my kids’ artwork they’ve created. There’s so many little hidden details and is very friendly for both my three and four year old who are just now being introduced to digital games. It reminds me of Webkins but without online contact with other players and is more shareable between siblings. Perfect game for kids (and parents to enjoy their kids progress in play-dough art 🩷)

Hi TrinityFarmer3. Thank you for such a nice review and we are so glad to hear that you and your children are enjoying Play-Doh World. We are regularly adding more activities into the world so they can keep making amazing new creations.

Overlord

Play‑Doh World is proof that my fingers have too much free time and not enough dignity.
I made a cat wearing sunglasses riding a taco, and somehow it became the mayor of my Play‑Doh city.
Every squish and smoosh feels like a tiny victory against adulthood.
The little Play‑Doh people cheer when I fail spectacularly, which is honestly insulting but hilarious.
I’ve lost snacks, sanity, and possibly my will to leave the house.
It’s messy, chaotic, and absurdly fun — exactly what my life was missing.
Five stars because I’m now officially the overlord of squishy chaos and loving it.

Making a kids game that doesn’t work with guided access is certainly a choice 😳

I have no idea what they’re thinking but making a kids game that doesn’t work with guided access is pretty dumb to be honest. This is pretty simple expectations for a game in 2025 and yet… nope! That’s not to mention the bugs that keep popping up and irritating my kid. Overall this game is more headache than it’s worth

Hi Zack1661. Guided Access should be working with the app so we are sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with it. If you could send us an email with more details of the problem you are having to playdohsupport@scarybeasties.com we can work with you to find a solution. Thank you, Scary Beasties Support Team

…..

You see, I got this app yesterday for my kids , Lisa, Kaden and Lucy. and I haven’t tried it yet so today, sitting on my couch, and when it told me the instructions of how to play, I deleted it! It’s a horrible experience and too babyish for my kids. Born at separate times but still the same age. I’m hoping that you can just make it less babyish because my kids said they liked it. But it’s not teaching them anything.
