Spotty Notifications
I wish the notifications would come through better when there are messages and announcements. I will get a notification sometimes and not others. It’s much better than it was last year!
Account creation experience
Was signed up by a team to join the app. Have not been able to login the whole day. I’m a software engineer at a big tech company but I still can’t operate this sports app
Worst App
This is the worst app you can ever come across. The tabs don’t even load and that too with a good internet connection. Using this app gives you the feel as if this is the 1st app that has been created in the world and given to customers for feedback.
Love the update!
Being able to add users to view my son’s schedule has been so so helpful. This app had some bugs last year but it seems like the recent changes have made it function so much better, including a calendar sync for real time updates on my phone’s calendar! Excited to see what comes out next.
Great app
Playbook Connect has been awesome! Clean, easy to use, and it keeps everything in one place. Scheduling is straightforward, updates are quick, and it’s super convenient for staying on top of games and messages. Highly recommend for teams and families.

10/10 would recommend for anyone that owns a sports organization. Playbook is one of the best products out there!
Game Changing App
Playbook makes managing my teams so effortless. An easy hub for scheduling, communication, and updates for both our parents and staff. A handful bugs have been fixed as well. Keep up the great work!

None of the email links work. One of the worst apps I’ve ever seen.
Gets better every week
The app had a few bugs early on, but it is clear the team is actively managing the site and pushing out fixes regularly. I’ve already noticed improvements and new features. It’s great to see a company that listens to customer feedback
Sub-par and inadequate
Since I started using this app, whatever you want to call it, it’s been nothing but a headache. You’d think the support team would be readily available to assist but nope they’re just as inadequate. Dissatisfied. With the app and the desktop interface. Confusing and not user friendly.
Dark Mode
It's almost 2026. Why does this app insist on burning my retinas like it's 2012? Dark mode was introduced to iOS in 2019. The absence of such a ubiquitous feature demonstrates a complete disregard for user experience.
The Worst
This has to be the worst app I have ever used. And on top of it when you email the company with the address listed on their website, the mail comes back as undeliverable. When you call them an atrocious AI voice answers the call and constantly gets confused and sidetracked making it impossible to get support. What a terrible company an absolute scam. Avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid at all costs!

Unnecessary Privacy Overreach
I wanted a simple way to sync my child’s games, but this app demands full access to my entire calendar—meaning it can read, edit, delete, and ingest all data from every event. That includes personal, medical, and work appointments, plus locations. Why does Playbook need this when other apps don’t?
Because I won’t hand over my entire schedule, I now have to manually enter everything—turning a simple task into a tedious mess. Until they fix this invasive policy, I can’t recommend it.

Much improved
This app used to have some troubling bugs but over the last couple months it has been working well without any issue. Particularly love the doppleganger feature :)
Why Full Access to My Calendar?
Why does this app require full access to my calendar? I clicked the option to add events only but it still won’t work with my calendar. Neither SportsEngine or Bench App required any type of access to my calendar. Otherwise app seems fine. Please fix this or I’ll unfortunately have to move my team back to

Register?
For some reason the apple app doesn’t allow you to register but the android app does? Many of our parents are apple users and we thought this would be an easy way to register but a bunch sent us a screen shot that the register button isn’t available.
