PLAYBULB Timer
Great product but the timer does not work which is a shame as you have to be physically next to the device to turn it on and off
Bluetooth option is not working?
This use to work great why would the app stop supporting bluetooth? Please help thanks

No apparent way to exit the ‘shop’ option. Impossible to set timer as foreground and background are the same colour!
Very mediocre
It does the basics but when I try to add a picture to the scenes it doesn’t load to save. The Contact Us link doesn’t load and the Rate My App link is blank.

This app no longer works. MiPow seems to have abandoned the product. Do not buy. Beware. These lights and the app worked for 4 years and then this year…No ability to connect to lights. Color is “frozen” now and can no longer be controlled or adjusted. The company store has moved on to selling Miffy hand warmers…

Timer dont work
Man, trying to get the timer set to a preferred time is a crap shoot. You can’t see the numbers just feel them scrolling through phone vibrations and it’s impossible to guess what you’re picking. Other than that app works fine just please fix the damn timer .
My device doesn’t show up after countless restarts
The lightbulb is within two feet of my phone whenever I use it, and the times it does show up it works but it will disconnect me from the device and will disappear from the app without anything happening physically for that to happen. But the other 95% of the time the (brand new) bulb doesn’t appear on the app list. It’s not to do with updating, as this app seldom gets updated despite ios always getting updates.

One of the worst app there is!
The interface (UX) is bad, and the timer function doesn’t even work anymore. Maybe MPOW should reduce the rythm at wich it release hardware, and spend more time on its software, particularly its « old » software.
Not intuitive and hard to understand
I have a lot of smart apps for lights and plugs and this one is not at all easy to use. I can’t even figure out how to automate a schedule. Only a timer option seems to be available.

Depuis l’arrivée du mode sombre il y a un bug pour minuterie mettre l’heure désiré qu’on ne voit pas car le font est blanc et les écritures sont blanches mais cette compagnie semble se foutre de se les clients leur dit alors c’est la seule lumière que je vais avoir de cette marque dans ma vie.

Malfunction
It has been three years and still no fix to make white light work?!? When selected, the light turns off. Need to set white as #FFFFFF not #000000 !

No longer impressed
This was a great app when it came out but it appears the company no longer cares about their older products. I have Playbulb X and can no longer use the timer as it does not gives me an option to chose the time. Switching to a new company!!!

Needs more functions
I love my lights. Purchased back in December 2018. However, 2 years later it needs to be updated to compete. I have purchased Globe Electric lights for a friend. Globe allows for you to customize your colour combinations, and multiple colours at a time that it “flows” through opposed you just one solid colour. I love the rainbow effect but what if I don’t want to go through all the colours of the rainbow? It’s time to look at what your competitors are doing and upgrade your software to allow people more customization.

Latest App Update of June 12th Inadequate!!!
Please fix your latest update to work on iOS in Dark Mode. Up until now, I’ve been able to set the sleep timer, but not tonight as you cannot see ANY NUMBERS TO SET THE TIME.
Also update your app to be recognized through Google Assistant and Alexa. So behind the times as it is a “Google” PLAYBULB!!!
I’ve been able to live with the colours being off from the colour spectrum on your app and the actual bulb, but I do wish that you’d fix the two items I’ve noted above and fast.

Not working
Bulb doesn’t show in app. Cannot control anything. Bluetooth connects but bulb not show in app. Only thing that works is speakers. If you play video on phone then sound comes from bulb. Totally waste of money at this point
