Doesn't play music
It used to play music now it doesn't. I don't care about controlling the light it's supposed to be a SPEAKER.
No music ?
The whole point I got this bulb vs other smart bulbs was for the music feature.. I even went out of my way I got Apple Music thinking it would be more compatible and nothing. Not sure what I could be doing wrong.

Bought the PLAYBULB and the app will not allow playback of music via Bluetooth now because the developers can’t be bothered. Instead, they create new PLAYBULBs and stop supporting their older ones. Why on earth would I buy another PLAYBULB when you have done what you have with the first one?!

Losing repeat buyers by not supporting older models
I would love to invest in other Playbulbs but it concerns me that once newer models come out the older ones are no longer supported.
Update this app to work with newer iPhones !!!! Was temperamental at best with Iphone 5, now it's no better than a normal bulb!

Don't play music
Last reviews are correct ,this does not play the music to iPhone 6s . Light works. No music . I uninstalled and reinstalled and still no luck . I tryed everything. Don't buy

The only thing that works is the light. The app plays music through your phone not the bulb. Doesn't work. They need to fix the app.
Product only as good as SOFTWARE...
...which is in dire need of being updated, please!? Light worked for a while then succeeded in connecting audio, now light is not working at all anymore. Hopefully can be fixed. Só glad I only paid 10 Dollars (probably not even worth that much anyway).

Received this for Christmas and absolutely loved out! Pairing was simple and easy and put out quality sound. Have been using iPhone 6s Plus the entire time but since the latest software update it no longer can play music. I really hope they get this fixed because it's a great product when it works.

Complete crap!
My iPhone 5s connects via Bluetooth but the app doesn't recognize the bulb...so...bright as hell!! Useless company! Bring a product out and "leave it hanging"!!!

The app needs a serious update. My playbulb does not connect so i can't switch to other colors as well as listen to music. Without the app, i basically bought an expensive, plain lightbulb. Please fix it quick! :(
