Continuous crashing

I opened the app and started making a playlist and it worked fine. I closed out and switched to Spotify to see if it was actually transferring and it was! But now ever time i go back into the app, i can’t try to select a playlist on the right without the app crashing

Great app but

I’ve used it a few times and it’s made my life easier but as of 8th April 2024 there’s a bug where whenever you press the + icon on the right, the app crashes every time. I have the latest version of iOS and the app. As soon as that bug gets fixed it will be a perfect app again, thanks

Hi Titus, Thanks for your review and for alerting me to this bug. I found the cause, but unfortunately, there's an issue with the Spotify service right now that's blocking me from publishing an update. The bug you're encountering is due to one of your playlists having a track on it with no associated artist... I didn't realize this was possible. Maybe it's a podcast or some visual element or something else out of the ordinary? If you were to find that item on the playlist (in the Spotify app) and remove it, the app should work. I checked the logs and you're one of only two users who has experience a crash this month, so I'm pretty convinced it's something niche like this. I apologize for the inconvenience either way, and I hope to get this fixed for you as soon as possible. Best, David

It would be great to be able to make folders and move playlists into them, especially since Spotify mobile still doesn’t support it for some reason.

Cool, but what if…

Seems great for combining a couple playlists, but I was hoping for more extensive playlist editing features. I wish I could edit this monster of a playlist I have, but it takes so long in Spotify to move one song. It’s because of this I think you should make this app to answer that call. I would love this app if there was an option to select multiple songs at once to move into a specific section of a playlist. That way I can construct a better flowing playlist, I simply don’t have enough time to scroll to the bottom of my playlist and have to drag songs I recently added thru hundreds of songs to get the placement I want for it.

Hi MinecraftMillionaire, thank you for your review. This is a good idea. I’ll try and add multiselect capabilities when I add a playlist editing feature. It might be a while since Im actively working on other projects, so for now, can I suggest a hacky solution? -Decide an updated order for your playlist in advance -Open up the current playlist on the left side in this -Copy it over chunks to a new playlist in the correct order using the multiselect feature It’s not ideal, but if you do need to reorder a big playlist, it should almost definitely be a bit faster than Spotify’s UI.

Best Spotify Companion App Ever!

This app is amazing! Just being able to drag songs around to different playlists is a game changer! No more pressing a ton of buttons, just swiping. And now that you can play a preview of the song in case you forget what it is, this app deserves an oscar!

Could use a sound feature

It would be wayyyy better if you could hear part of the song when you click on it.

Adds a missing Playlist creation feature to Spotify

This app works well and allows you to select lists of tracks and create new playlists using drag and drop. This is a much better, easier and quicker way to do this than using the native Spotify app. Many thanks for creating this app. Brilliant.

Great app with potential

This app is super convenient for making playlists similar to each other or making a main playlist out of all the others. I think it could and should have a lot more uses though. For example, just a few things you could add in are notifications where a GUI pops up to let you know that you’ve already got this song in a playlist. You could also add the images from the playlist which would include the bar code and description. You could also make a basic setup where you can have different tabs. One you could view and edit playlists, one being the only feature available right now as another tab, and then maybe one where you can discover recommended playlists or find friends on the app and be able to collaborate a playlist. This would require accounts, but I think it’s a great step for this app to reach its potential. Anyways, just a few thoughts and suggestions. Overall, 6/10, but with those features, this could easily become a 9/10.
