Bought this to follow along MLB games when I don’t feel like using a whole scorebook (too windy, rainy, etc.). Tried the “tried scoring” feature to see if I spend money on in-app purchases but it only let me record a strike swinging, the rest all ask me who is batting, even after selecting who is batting. Not sure if whole functionality is hidden behind a paywall but wary of figuring out if that is the case if this is how the demo works for free.

This app is clearly very well thought out. The whole app is designed to make it easier and faster for the user. We need more apps designed this way.
CAN’t add a team
I tried to add a team but after I put the team name,the location,and the division I try to hit go to roster setup but doesn’t work for some reason and I tried multiple times but didn’t work
No uncaught 3rd Strike option among others
Limited options for scoring plays like uncaught 3rd strike. Had a coach give me the wrong line up at a plate meeting. Could not correct once he gave me the correct line up without deleting the whole game.

New Features
The new features are dynamic and what coaches players and parents really need. The leaderboards are great and lots of good info for feedback. The recruiting aspect is like no other combined with the stats and measurables love the sharing aspect with family.

Fielder’s Choice Bug?
Love the app, but I’m running into a bug where if there are multiple runners on base and the batter hits into a fielder’s choice, it removes multiple runners off the bases when you choose who got out.

Not very user friendly over all
The scoring is about the only thing that is easy to use. You cannot delete anything if you make a mistake. You can’t rearrange the batting order. I seems to always put their numbers in wrong then can’t change it. It will only let me adjust the last 5 or 6 players. Once it gets to 9 batters it wants to start over even though we have 12 players. While I want to like the app it’s more frustrating than useful in rec league baseball.

8u softball
In 8u softball, there are 4 outfielders and all the players bat. It would be helpful if there was a setting to add another outfielder.

Hi there, thanks so much for the feedback. We don’t track fielding statistics and it’s not required to set fielders in the scoring flow. You are able to add any number of batters to the lineup by dragging additional players in. Hope you are enjoying the app otherwise!
Great for all ages, leagues, you name it!
This app is super simple to use. When I first downloaded it I also tried 3-4 other scoring apps to compare. PlayMaker beat out all of them. I don’t need to do a bunch of extra steps in scoring and it’s simple even for those who do not know how to score a book. You simply create your team and any opposing teams, can use names and/or numbers, and off you go! You can keep track as a parent, coach, or player. I think it is truly impressive! I’m excited to see how it progresses while it’s at such a high level already. Keep it up!!
