I’ve been playing this game for a while. I loved it until I decided to pay for a better experience (no ads), after that I am very disappointed. After that I still got ads but just ads about the app, more things to buy. I couldn’t even restore my purchases to ad it to my phone. I contacted customer service. NO HELP WHATSOEVER! Last week I opened it and I had lost all of my coins, A LOT OF COINS, I contacted customer support again, no answer. Done playing.

Would be 5 stars, but bugged
I enjoy the old school decryption game, but the daily reward window frequently bugs out. The window gets stuck in the foreground, blocking the game. Clicking on it rewards coins, but then it resets, staying at the front. You can keep clicking it indefinitely and it never clears. Sometimes quitting the game and coming back to it hours later will let me actually play the game, but usually the same bugged window prevents it.

Don’t pay for “No Ads”
First let me say that this !9my favorite game to play. I love word puzzles and this game is really good for my forty-something brain.
However…this past week (end of August 2026), they decided to make you pay for a feature that has been free since the game began. They make you earn the “right” to watch an ad to earn the bonus. I paid $5 over a year ago to be able to play ad-free!
While there have been options to watch an ad for an extra turn and such, there has never been a lock on a bonus feature that can only be earned after playing multiple puzzles. You should not waste your money buying the ad-free option because you have to watch stupid ads all the time and now it’s even worse. The “ad-free” option is a scam and doesn’t exist. I now have to find another cryptogram game and I have worked really hard in this one. I’m hoping that enough people will call them out on their b.s. and they will revert back to their previous bonus structure.

False Ads used
I enjoy the game. I don’t wish to pay to remove all ads. I do not want to play games when Apple Store promotes false advertising and misleading and fraudulent ads. Example the jello baking soda diet using AI to use false celebrity endorsements.
Never get a reply
This is a fabulous game. However, the Support sucks. No matter what I have ever asked I get "thank you, we will reply to you shortly. "I have never gotten a reply. I have asked how the game works, and no one will tell me.
Annoying
This would be a fun game if there were less advertisements with every button that you click on. If you want no ads, you must pay $9.99. No fun… deleted game and looking for a better crypto game.
Excessive adds
This game was a fun challenge until they started interrupting every game with adds. I don’t mind adds between games, but now you can’t finish a level without interruptions.
So many adds
Fun game but the number and frequency of adds is outrageous! I understand the creators need to make money for their work but this is ridiculous

Have to play in airplane mode to avoid all the ads. Normally not an issue but these will come up in the middle of doing a puzzle.

I HATE all the ads! I l’d rather pay for the app than to have to suffer through the numerous ads.
Ads are too long
Incredibly long adverts by BETMGM. Some lasting well over a min. These ads shut down anything you’re listening to. Also the game uses a lot of energy. My new phone gets quite hot when I play it.
App keeps crashing
Game is fun, but the app keeps crashing every couple of days. Now I can’t get in at all.
Stupid changes
Stupid changes are not needed. Everything was working fine and then they add a stupid second hint which takes all the fun away. Played for a year. Now my game is deleted. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
why does it keep removing points?
it’s so frustrating because i earn points, watxh videos, accumulate points and watch them arbitrarily disappear in front of my eyes!
Could be fun
The game itself is fun, but be prepared for massive amounts of ads. You’ll watch an ad before each game and another after the game and another ad before starting the next game as well as having an ad showing below your game at all times. They want $7.99 for ad free…. Both are just ridiculous. I wish my old cryptogram game was still around. No ads, unlimited more varied and didn’t limit how many mistakes. You could finish the cryptogram and check it at the end and it would make your mistakes red, but you could fix it on the spot to finish without starting over.

This game is fine to play - not particularly challenging, but it’s enough to keep me occupied.
However, like with so many similar games, the number of ads is insane. I don’t mind an ad between levels, but this game involves two ads between levels. It’s another one that I’ll be deleting.

I played several levels and probably 99% of the quotes were from the same group of people. How about mixing it up a bit?

Too Many Ads!
Ads creep in at a very low level, and no matter what option you choose to continue to progress, you have to watch an ad, sometimes 30 seconds, sometimes a full two minutes! Absurd. I can only stand so much.
