Misleading Marketing
Plaza Mexico Restaurant has table marketing materials promoting their mobile app, claiming you can earn cash back rewards and get instant credit. I downloaded the app, signed up, and after completing the lengthy registration process, I found out the rewards can only be used for online purchases made through the app, not in the restaurant. This process was misleading, frustrating, and seemed pointless, adding to the overall bad experience in the restaurant.

Earn rewards to pay actual menu price!
Tonight I decided to order food from our local Plaza Mexico. I love the food here. Always tasty. Saw that they had this app, and how it said ‘earn rewards with each order’. Found out that the app prices are higher than the actual menu prices. You can’t charge people more than your menu prices, or the rewards don’t mean anything. Very disappointing. I feel I am owed money now. Or did I pay for this free app?
