CarPlay is here. Pleasant now lives on your car screen: your routes with GO, turn-by-turn with a tap-for-full-directions banner, add a stop mid-drive (it gets a star on the map). And the routing got smarter where it counts: scenic and pleasant routes are now connected to our Great Roads index — hand-curated drives, coastlines, and byways — so when a great road runs your way, your route finds it. Behind that sit hundreds of stretched of rating roads rated by real people teaching the map what a good drive feels like. Thanks to the drivers in Umbria, Maryland, and Maine who shaped this release. Keep telling us — the community is the map.

Great idea!

This app is a refreshing alternative to Waze and Google Maps. I love that it prioritizes a more enjoyable driving experience over the fastest route. I am excited to use it on my weekend drives through the back country. What a great idea!

It is so nice having this app when I’m on my hot girl walks. I live in nyc, so I walk the same streets everyday but Pleasant opened up so much more of the city for me. Who knew there was so much nature here!?
