Please dear god let me change the settings while casting again, this is so annoying.
No NAS library access
I upgraded to this latest update but since my media on my local media server is not accessible via IOS. I can still access my data via Android or via the web url on WiFi.

What happened?
I've been using Plex for over a decade now, primarily for hosting my own media. It sucks to see them slowly deteriorate into another one of those B-tier streaming services and put the original customer base in the backseat. The app was, at one point, fantastic.
Now, it's a genuine struggle to get it to do the most basic of things. The UI change to be less like the webpage counterpart makes little sense. Why can I not browse my libraries like I would on the webpage variant? Why is something as basic as looking at all your libraries hidden and not the base when you go to the libraries tab? It's also slower to navigate and load times for being on a modern internet connection for basic UI is a slog.
Also Constant connection errors when trying to load a library on the same home network my server is on. I find that removing it from favorites then re-adding it works for whatever reason. Downloads rarely work. Removed the more nitty gritty settings that the webpage variant has. Asinine pricing changes that do not reflect any positive changes or enhancements with the app/service with confusing division of services amongst subscription types.
Wasn't even 5 years ago that I, at one point, could reliably load up the app and get right into watching my own content without any issues but the Plex team seems confused and divided on what they even want to provide for its customers.

USED TO BE GREAT
Every update makes the app worse.
Can’t download collections or playlists anymore, which I used all the time.
This rebuild is truly a downgrade from the simplicity of the previous version.
I’m also fairly confident my honest review is being suppressed.
I want to speak with the Devs face to face.

It’s amazing
It takes a min for new movies to be out but it is one in a million
New update is bad
Change for changes sake IS NOT progress. FireTV version is now slow and am getting many freezes. Hiding the libraries behind a single icon just introduces un-needed navigation and clicks.

downloads are useless without wifi
when launching the app without wifi/internet access, you get a spinning wheel, which spins forever (well, at least more than 3 minutes). If you, like me, you expected to have access to your downloads to play on a plane, or somewhere without wifi/internet access, you’ll be disappointed. How stupid is this?

Improved Downloads
The offline downloads feature improvements are appreciated. It lost a lot of functionality with the big app overhaul and seems to be improving.
Playlist grid view gone?
It seems like playlists used to be in grid mode and now it is list which is really hard to view.

Okay so the app on Apple TV is GREAT but when I’m watching on my iPhone this thing has a MULTITUDE of problems. The only reason you’re getting 2 stars is because the Apple TV app works perfect. So here’s the problem.
When I go Picture in Picture to do other stuff on my phone like answer emails check Facebook or just play a game the app works fine. Commercials have an issue starting but whatever. THEN when I revert back to full screen while watching a show or movie the app freezes and then throws me into another 180 second commercial block. I wouldn’t get annoyed by that if I just didn’t get out of an ad block 3 seconds prior.
Now the other issue if I look passed the additional 180 ad block when the show comes back on it’s totally black with sound playing. Going backwards doesn’t work to fix it. I literally have to leave the episode and start over. And guess what I get when I do that? That’s right ANOTHER 180 second ad block. But at least the picture issue is fixed after that happens. So FIX the picture and picture issue. It shouldn’t have an issue playing from a smaller screen to a full screen.
I’m sure if I paid for the app these issues wouldn’t be an issue but I pay for WAY too many services as it is so I don’t mind watching commercials especially for shows I haven’t seen which Plex only has, The Arc if anyone is curious. Please fix this issue so I can give you 5 stars.

Used to be great but
Latest version of the app is constantly failing to load my content, and now it complains my server is out of date - yet it's running the latest version. Yet mysteriously it has no problem playing junky free content and ads.
Easily a -30 out of 5
What a garbage app. Cant minimize the 150 second ads. When I come minimize a video and return, it gives me another 150 second ad. Truly awful. Tubi is superior and Plex is trash asf.

This app used to cause me no problems ever. Now, it’s rare that I go a month without having some stupid snafu. Today I can’t see my server at all. Thanks, Plex.

The app is good but if your looking to watch new shows like love island USA or like anything popular it won’t let you watch it what so ever

Can’t sign up. Very disappointing.
This Plex update has issues.
This app won’t connect to my server about 1/3 of the time since the most recent update. I have to open and close the app on my iPad, but sometimes I have to go to my server PC to restart the app there. While I’m thinking of it, the ability to restart the server from my iPad would be great too.
Black Screen
My screen goes black after the ads play. The audio is ok. I restart the movies, its ok until the ads play. iPad air 5th generation.
