Server keeps disconnecting after server update
App is useless after updating the server software update as of today, 09.02.2026.
Weeds
Now can you guys fix the show weeds cause now all of a sudden there’s no play button and says it not watchable on the app as a show just live tv. Please fix this

what a terrible piece of software
I paid hundreds of dollars for the Plex pass and this software is terrible. Half the time only one library will work at a time, log out, log back in the other library will work. then constant playback errors. It's only the iPad app. My smart TV works fine, web browser works fine, friends iPhones work fine. It's just this terrible terrible software, please fix it I've given you hundreds and hundreds of dollars

Plex is trash, used to be the best
iOS crashes constantly, whatever they have done lately is garbage. I play a movie for 3 minutes and it bugs out. I’ve played movies and tv shows for over a decade without issue and now it’s absolutely useless. Moving off plex completely soon.
App keeps stops working
The app randomly on my iPhone and my ps4 stops working and glitches so much yall really to fix that bug I love the app but it should work consistently when on live tv mode
Tanking their own product
Updates a few months ago rendered the TV App useless. Glitches, extreme lags, and crashes are constant. Force restart is necessary at least once every time I use Plex now. Totally ruined the experience. Fix your sht.
Stuck on loading advertisement
Very annoying app, got stuck on loading advert. Closed the connection and reopened and it did exactly the same again. Deleting because nobody has time for this.
Freezes all the time
It disconnects from my server constantly and freezes while I’m sitting next to server.
Commercials freeze
When watching show or movies there’s no problem with freezing but as soon as a commercial comes on it takes at least 5 minutes for it to make it through all of them. I usually have to close the show I’m watching and then hit resume. This happens when on WiFi or cellular network so I guess this is a glitch with the app.

Garbage UI
Switching to Emby. Plex doubled down on a fundamentally broken UI. None of my family knows how to use this app and I’m finding myself to be tech support every other day.

Worst Update to an App Ever
This app was outstanding for many years, but the redesign update completely ruined every single aspect of this app. Now this week they update it once again and somehow made it even worse. I get updates the fix a large number of issues and accidental introducing a few new issues. This isn’t that by any stretch of the imagination being they just keep adding bugs and never fixing any of the previous bugs. I genuinely wish they would bring back the old app and test this version before full release. Instead I have to consider dumping plex entirely for an alternative… Plex Devs please do better.
